Woohoo, we finally won one.

Steady game out of Bryant and nice clutch shot from Odom.

Good win today againmst the Heat. This is what we wanna see of Lamar... Near triple double! And Kobe.. 37 points! I'm fine with that! Plus he shot at a decent percentage. And Devean's 17 points came at a handy time too (Y)

Someone made a thread here about Wade and Lebron becoming "boring".... that's what Kobe has become to me. I remember getting really angry in those playoff games against the Kings years ago... always wanting the Lakers to lose.. because they were my uncle's fav team (i hated him lol). Now it's just sort of... boring.

I've always felt that they should start Odom at PF and Devean at SF. I have always loved that guy (not in that way) and I feel they would be alot more effective that way as Odom can use his quickness (also outside shot) as an advantage against bigger guys but he still has the size to guard.

I like George too but I feel that instead of starting Lamar at the PF... the Lakers should have started Lamar at PG. Of course though, there's Smush who's next scoring outburst is always unpredictable and taking Kwame out of the starting lineup wouldn't really help anybody.

Plus, Devean gives jax someone to lead the second unit onto the court.

lol how many times does Shaq show up opponents with that chicken walk or do that hot dog jog after a big dunk?

go figure Shaq's ego couldn't take it when someone more or less does the same thing to him

There's a difference between walking funny down the court and physically shoving another player.

i just saw the replay. bynum was denying him post position

look at shaq's retaliation, clearly malicious content

whatever- i'm glad that happened to shaq. he shouldn't have been allowed to play the rest of that game

Shaq say that he was talking with Bill Russel (spelling?) earlier this week(not sure but some time this season) and he advised him to squash what he has with Kobe. Shaq also said that he went and congratulated Kobe on his wife having a baby.

Who woulda thought they'd ever be this buddy buddy again. I wonder how long this will last before they start at it again?

This the classic schoolyard bully story- stand up to the fat bully and he'll show he's really the pussy

Good for Bynum.

Shaq should have been ejected

I think Bynum kinda instigated it with the little elbow but Shaq went for his head. Kinda surprised he got that riled up and kinda surprised also he didnt get ejected.

How suprised you can be? The referees have been on Shaq's dick since MJ left the league.

And about Shaq vs. Bynum

Of the two dunks, I definately thought Shaq got the better end of that, but I like that Bynum took the posterization and then came back and got a dunk of his own.

I'm glad neither were kicked out of the game too. That was the best part of the game. Too bad it was so short.

Kobe and the Lakers looked like an actual team today and I'm happy for them, that they finally won one over the Heat. And Kobe did look like an MVP today.

It was hard for me to tell if the reason Shaq threw the elbow was for being dunked on or because Bynum gave him a little elbow first. So I'm not going to say anything about that.

If you're right and he threw it because he was pissed he was dunked on, I hope he gets dunked on a heullva lot more. Show him how it feels.. Too bad Vince said he'd never dunk on him. I'd love to see Kobe give it a shot.

I still hate Horry for that shot.

I downloaded the clip in full, Bynum's move looks like something out of ESPN 2K5. If the situations were reversed and Bynum had made Shaq look stupid first, then Shaq destroys him on the put back it'd be one of those "don't mess with Shaq" moments.

Shaq's reaction was weird... almost as weird as Andrew Bynum looks generally. He looks mentally retarded or something, it's strange to see him physically showing alot of emotion but facially doing nothing whatsoever. Bynum hardly touched him, kind of brushed him with his elbow... I think in any other game time situation Shaq would've ignored it, but since he'd just been dunked on he probably saw it as an insult.

If I was Shaq I would've just demanded the ball again and done some damage on him , he (Bynum) would've been yanked straight away if Shaq went on some sort of scoring spree. Also props to Kobe for giving the ball to Bynum straight away on the offence, I don't think alot of guys in the league would've let him have a go at Shaq.

It's quite a game from the Lakers, especially from Odom.
They can be really tough to beat if Kobe and Odom combine for like 55points, 15rebounds and 12assists at least on a every other game basis. (Y)

Also if Devean George chips in double digits from off the bench (Y)

Geroge was the X-factor IMHO

N oway the Lakers will get Artest. No chance! I wouldn't give up on Lamar just yet!

About that extra guy and if u want a weird one, might as well go for Spree. At the same time of screwing over the Clips (or doing them a favour)... we also get someone for a smaller price than Artest! (Y)
