NBA Top Scorer?

Postby Fresh8 on Sun Jan 15, 2006 12:35 am

So who's your pick?

Allen Iverson has played 2 more games than Bryant and Kobe is leading by just 0.4 ppg right now. Don't forget he's been injury prone in the last few seasons. Those two have been favourites for a while but theres also Lebron and Gilbert (Who's falling a bit...) in the race! My choice is Kobe becuase of the state the Lakers are in.

And also... do you think it will be decided in the final game of the season?

An interesting scenario would be Lebron, AI and Kobe all trying to beat eachother! (Y)

Kobe. the mere fact that he has no-one besides Odom in Purple and Gold capable of making even the simple lay-up, pretty much guarantees it. Unless he burns out , that is.

Interesting factoid: Have you noticed that Kobe's defense this year S_T_I_N_K_S? I guess that's teh price you have to pay when you have to release 27 shots per night.

I voted Other.

I'm not going to say who because I haven't figured out who.

wasn't kobe all defensive a couple years back... jesus stop launching shots in practice and learn how to move your feet around.... michael and scottie had no problems jacking up 20 shots and still playing like the defensive monsters

Yes, that was my whole point. Over-exerting himself on offense has its side-effects.

Allen Iverson, definately... Kobe scores 34 per game because his team is still developing and there isn't another good scorer , AI has a decent-good team and still he's able to score 33.7 per game.

It's not going to be Arenas, he's not going to shoot that much. It's also not going to be Lebron, I see him hovering around the same range, not going up. It's between AI and Kobe, could go either way, but with how much Kobe likes to explode in FGA this season, it could be him.

What makes you think Philly is a better team than LA??? Philly - 0.500, LA - 0.528

I choose Kobe purely because he takes more shots than anyone else in a shorter space of time.
