Realistically no, but he probably could if he really wanted to. He doesn't seem completely driven by stats *cough*tracymcgrady*cough* so I'm not sure it's something he'll really go after.

You can't be serious. We already have guys averaging close to 25/7/7. It's not a stretch to think that someone will do it again one day.

No way, he has been caring more about scoring this year.
i think it would be diaw, only if he could play like 40+ minutes per game.

As Jae said, only if he intentionally went after such a goal. But then again, the Cavs would sink to teh abyss, so...

He did average 27 or 28/8/8 at the age of 19/20, so he could be better this season. The thing is he isn't the teams by-far-the-primary-ballhandler once again because he has to share that duty with Hughes, who is also a great rebounder for his size and position. Plus , they got Marshall, who is also a great rebounder in his own right. I would have to say that his rebounding and assists average will raise in Hughes' absence and return to his last year's numbrs.

I think the closest he will get will be when he is in his prime, and it will be somethin like 35, 9 and 8.
I cant see him averaging much more than 7-8 assists.

But hey, if he helps Cleveland win championships, who really cares what he averages....he said it himself, that he would take 5 or 10 pts a nite if it meant winning.

He might've said that, but it's a crock of shit. Guys say things like this all the time full knowing that they'll never only get 5 or 10 points per night. If someone came out and said "Oh I'd be happy playing 1 minute per game if we were winning"... you know that person would be demanding a trade after 2 games.

it's a bit diff with minutes, but yes, taking less shots after taking plenty is a hard task, especially if you don;t trust teammates.

i think GH averaged 18, 9.8 and 7.5 or so, that's pretty good SF #'s.

It's much easier to gather energy to pull down that extra rebounds&assists if you score 18 points per as opposed to LBJ's 30.

pretty much my thoughts right there. i don't think it's possible for him to score 30, while pulling down 10 boards and dishing out 10 assists per game -- it's just way too much. i'd say it's possible if he drops his scoring by at least 10 points, then it'd be possible.

It's less a matter of a player being capable of a triple double as the team because the hardest part of that is the assists. Point/rebound double doubles are common.

When O had that year the Royals scored 123 points per game. People thought the Suns were insanely fast run & gun last year and they weren't even close to the Royals at 110.

Maybe one day if LeBron moves to another team that's even more run & gun than Phoenix, but it doesn't like it will happen with this Cleveland team.

I would say the closest he will come is probably like X points (double figures guaranteed), between 9-10 rebounds, and between 7-8 assists. I dont think he could get the assist numbers above ten consistently since some of the best point guards in the league cannot do that these days.

but which PG's draw dbl teams like he does?

Drop his scoring to about 18ppg, he can probably get just a shade over 10rpg and if Hill can get 7.3apg then LeBron can get 10. He's got better offensive options then Hill ever had.
