he works hard he just gets some unfortunate injuries at times, but he's shown that he's capable of being something good. i don't think his coaches have ever blasted him on his work ethic.

and we all know what some people think of kwame brown -- MJ called him a flaming faggot and dr. phil called him a pussy.

Kwame has also shown flashes bub. MJ and Phil would've called Chandler the same thing. Lucky for him, he's got GULP Scott Skiles.

I too would flip a coin and hope that it didn't come down, as the saying goes. But if I have to pick one, I'd also choose Kandi because of his two or three decent, productive seasons.

Kwame isn't a bust. So far he has been, but he's still young. He has time to improve. So I'd pick him solely on his potential.

Kandiman. Kwame isn't going to improve.

But Kandi will? They're both about the same in this moment. Kwame has more actual talent skill-wise, while Olowokandi is probably more talented psychically. It hard to judge, considering none of them uses it.

Fact of the day: Kwame's standing reach is just half of an inch more than Smush's (9'0 to 8'11 1/2''). Maybe Parker should be playing C on that team.

think about what you just said.

five years of sweet fuck all, after being picked #1 overall. who gives a shit if he is young its a waste of a #1 pick

It is harder as it looks!! But I rather have Kwame besides he has atleast more seasons than Olowokandi! And ofcourse theres Phil to guide him..

I prefer Kwame.

No, I haven't said that, but everybody is saying that Kwame will become better in time. I disagree, his mentality won't let him. Kwame is the next Michael Olowokandi.

I picked Kandi because atleast a few seasons ago he blocked a shot or two every game.

SnitchDevil wrote:Limp, Kwame's giving us what we lacked last season. A big body downlow that doesnt foul every 2 minutes.

With Kwame on the floor, believe it or not, our defense improves. Try watching a laker game and you'll see what im referring to.

lol what a standard. Too bad almost all of Brown's defensive stats are negative. see 82games.com, not realGM.

Kandi has had more productive seasons with the fucken clips limp, it's sad when you're productive on a team that even mikki moore can be productive.

the fact remains that he posted those stats and you can't discredit it. On the other hand- Brown hasn't done shit

ala tyson chandler? Laughing

Kwame has also shown flashes bub.

Not compared to Chandler. Chandler may be shit right now but last year he was just as important as Gordon in the 4th quarter in many of the Bulls wins. He also was one of the league leaders in 4th quarter rebounding in blocks. He was a difference maker for a winning team

Brown has maybe had 2 or 3 weeks worth of basketball where he showed he was decent- all of it coming on a lottery team or when the season didn't matter
MJ and Phil would've called Chandler the same thing. Lucky for him, he's got GULP Scott Skiles. Laughing

Chandler's passion and attitude has never been questioned. Jordan and Phil would love to have someone that will get a big rebound, block shots, dive into the stands for a loose ball.

Then there's Brown who has pouted for not starting and got suspended in the playoffs while in Washington

Olowokandi for reasons already mentioned.

And wow...Get this fact into your head. Kwame Brown is not going to get any better than he is now, he's a bust. Snitchdevil, you can say all you want, the Lakers made a huge mistake trading Butler for Kwame.

Kwame Brown is nothing more than a garbage time player, he has no motivation and as young as he still is, I don't think there is a thing on this earth that can motivate him now.

Players coming out of high school should have no long term contracts with millions of dollars guaranteed. That's whats happening because they've got all the money now and they don't work as hard to earn it.

Thu Jan 05, 2006 4:26 pm

What's this fetish with Kwame's standing reach? Yeah, let's forget that he's 6'10, 270 lbs and he still runs like lamar odom.

Seriously, Earl Boykins has bigger hands than Kobe Bryant. So what?

Thu Jan 05, 2006 4:43 pm

of course kwame.. kandi sucks

Thu Jan 05, 2006 4:55 pm

limp, i cant seem to find 05-06 stats in 82games.com

any suggestion as to where i can find on-court versus off-court numbers?

I just might try the benji way of discussing the nba.

EDIT:it was on the front page. stupid me.
