Well if you were watching the game you would have seen that Kobe's hit on Wade was nothing intentional but Wade went in for the kill with his elbow. You cant really compare the two. I just thought that Wade got a bit too hot-headed from his daily Kobe-hating convos with Shaq so for some reason he took a little graze too personal.

As for this.. its a huge overeaction. How is that shaq can throw punches at brad miller and get three games, and Kobes gets two for a foul? It wasnt even that bad of a foul. But credit to Kobe for defending his homecourt and playing with some pride. Maybe Lamar Odom can start taking notes.

Damn right Matthew. Odom needs to be agressive and not act sleepy and high every game. Lamar has shown that he can be quite difficult to stop when he really wants to attack the hoop. I'd let him smoke all the pot he wants as long as he averages 20 ppg for us.

i'm not sure if it's overaction by the front office, but perhaps an overeaction here.

as someone previously mentioned, bryant had been involved in some "heated" incidents with really no serious punishments handed out. i think the front office did a good job to hand out some kind of punishment in attempts to avoid further "heated" incidents invovling bryant

last year, nocioni was suspended after committing hard fouls on Dwayne Wade then Tayshaun Prince. Prince is a tooth pick and Wade faked Nocioni out of his shoes so Nocioni was burned and just tried to prevent Wade from shooting. It wasn't malicious yet since both coaches from Detroit and Miami called Nocioni a dirty player and asked for some action, it resulted in Nocioni's suspension and unfortunate stereotype as a dirty player

I finally saw the hit and it wasnt up to billing (kinda disappointing). It didnt look that bad and he wasnt even really looking. Even if it was intentional it barely looked worthy of a 2 game suspension. The shot Dallas took at his head looks more suspension worthy. Or even the shot Wade took at him. That elbow Kobe gave Miller looked really weak imo.
