Kobe's favorite player talks about Kobe
"I think he does what he has to do," San Antonio guard Manu Ginobili said. "Of course, there's a difference between 35 and 25 shots, but he's got that ability to make every shot. Even if it's in front of two guys he jumps so high on fadeaways it doesn't matter. He's got so many resources, it's easy for him to take 35 shots. If I was his teammate, I wouldn't care."

Uh.. SnitchDevil? Kwame playing good defense against Shaq? Did you even watch the game on Christmas Day? For crying out loud, I didn't even watch the entire first half but I saw Shaq get about 4 or 5 dunks where Kwame was just standing there watching him! A good defender would at least try to stop him...

I thought I could dislike nobody more than Kobe... but I think Lebron James has taken his place. Sure Kobe is an asshole, but Lebron is like a spoiled little kid. Those stupid commercials make me want to puke. What are they advertising anyway? A shoe? Or just Lebron himself?

There is a difference between the two. Kobe is an ass, but his team did horrible last season and looks to be a mediocre team at best this season. My hate factor might go up if the Lakers start winning again, but for now Lebron "the King" has taken priority over Kobe.

Disagree. Lebron James is a class act and even though I don't understand what he's advertising in those commercials , or why he would be dressed up as 4 different people , I really don't have a problem. He isn't like other NBA players (at least not that I know of) that go around impregnating people or shooting dogs (Qyntel Woods)...the kid is a class act and hasn't made any bad mistakes in his career. He's handled the celebrity and the spotlight very well...once he makes mistakes like Carmelo Anthony and ends up in a video threatening people then I'll stand corrected. Otherwise he's a great kid and I'm in full support of him.

The way the NBA pushes LeBron he's almost destined for anti-culture. That's part of the reason Kobe is so disliked. The NBA is trying to push anyone and everyone they can these days to promote the new stars of this generation and Kobe has been pushed very heavily in the past. It wouldn't surprise me if it inspired similar anti-culture for LeBron.

Idiot. If you watched the game, you should've seen Kwame deny Shaq position and the angle shaq needed to make his shots/ Those dunks you saw on sportscenter? They were off offensive rebounds or they were against the road warrior Chris Mihm. Shaq dominated when Chris Mihm was defending. disagree with me? too bad because ABC's own Hubie Brown was complimenting Kwame's defense the whole game. He pointed them out clearly for the smart one's like you. (Y)

How is he a class act? He hasn't been in the league long enough to screw his reputation up yet. Just give him time. Everyone said the same of Kobe, then he commited adultery and alleged rape. Shortly after he dismantled a championship team and became the biggest self-serving player in the league. I have never seen a player so hyped as Lebron in any sport (and what's more, he isn't even the best player in the league!). Only a matter of time till it all goes to his head.

Yet, you're still acting like one. Anyway, I don't really give a shit about the Pistons. I just placed that comment to at least have some relevance to the topic when I replied to shadowgrin. And calling everyone else stupid when someone disagrees with you? That's original. I'm not that insecure about my IQ to even be annoyed by that.

Uh.. no. I remember Hubie Brown saying that too, and I also remember saying to my self "What the hell is he talking about?" - Kwame Brown did absolutely nothing to stop Shaq (not that many players ever can stop him). Chris Mihm played like 4 minutes in the entire first half because of foul trouble - at least he TRIED to stop Shaq.

Relax on the namecalling too, guy.

Kwame's net PER versus other PFs is an abysmal -11.3.
http://www.82games.com/0506/05LAL13C.HTM

For reference, the original no-defense PF guy himself Antoine Walker is a -4.1.
http://www.82games.com/0506/05MIA12C.HTM

A good PF, say Camby, is at +21.1. Maybe he'll get better one day, but he's not a good player at this point in time.
