How on earth can this guy be listed at 260 pounds?

How on earth can this guy be listed at 260 pounds?

Pavel Podkolzin (7-5, 260) of the Dallas Maverics

There is no way this guy weights 260 pounds. Yao is listed at 310, and he's slimmer built than this guy.

Umm... I checked NBA.com and Yao is NOT listed at 310lbs

Position: C
Born: Sep 12, 1980
Height: 7-5 / 2,26
Weight: 296 lbs. / 134,3 kg.
From : China

and Yaho is actually not that slim, he might look slim for his height, but he isn't slim.

Did he say Yao was slim in general? No, he said he was slimmer than this guy.

Your complete lack of comprehension is astounding.

Yao weighs more because he is taller, therefore he has more weight. This guy maybe more bigger built but Yao has more mass...I think.

Make sense?

I thought Yao was 7'6?

Ok this is weird, ESPN has Yao Ming listed at 7-6 and 310lbs. NBA.com has Yao Ming listed at 7-5 and 296lbs. Which one is right?

I heard he was 7'6 aswell but I'm really not sure. Pavel Podkolzine is like 7'5 anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if they were the same height.

I think people exaggerate Yao's size... I like to say he's 7'5" but he is DEFINITELY not over 300 lbs.

If you ever noticed, Yao legs are like tree stump's. Maybe that is where all his weight comes from?

Muscle weighs more than fat, and besides, any of these stats could be inaccurate like Mutombo's age.
