Jefferson is younger hence he should be traded. Carter is good but he's old.

Carter actually scores 2 more points a game.

There numbers are actually similar. RJ gets +3 in rebounds, but VC outdoes RJ in FT%.

VC's 3 years older.

How does that make sense? You'd want to keep the younger guy.

this is a tough one. Carter is a better shooter, but they have a similar game. Carter is injury prone, though after being traded, he hasn't missed a lot of games. I guess this also depends on who they get back. ........ hmmm i think i 'll go for Carter just cause he's old. Not a great reason, but i can't think any other.

that makes alot of sence

if your going to do a trade, market them both and see the deal you like most, however it would probably piss off the guy who isnt traded as they wont feel as wanted to the team anymore.

I'd trade away Vince. Jefferson can really put up numbers other than scoring.

easy....Carter

you never have to question Jefferson. He didn't tank the season like Carter did in Toronto. He plays better D than Carter too and pulls down rebounds in traffic, not to mention he doesn't get injured like Carter either.

Trade Carter. RJ was doing well before VC came to Jersey and RJ is half the whiny bitch that VC is.

On a business perspective, I'd trade RJ. VC's more marketable. Any casual NBA fan knows who he is. He'd sell more merchandise. etc

But if I'm going to think about the team's future, I'd trade VC away. RJ is younger. and trading VC IMO would have more value and a chance to get a good younger guy with a lot of potential to develop

VC. He is more injury prone, more of a drama queen and doesn't play D. Jefferson is still improving (a lot) and could very well end up being of the better/best all-around players in the L. He'll never sell as many jerseys as Half Man Half Injury, but he'll certainly become a superstar in his own right. And for that to come, he needs more ball and that means someone needs to go and - by my opinion - that's Carter. They could get a decent big man in return.

there's no team chemistry this season in NJ....last year we thought they would have a breakout season with RJ back, but nothing happens....this season I don't recognize this old good Vince Carter of the past, about 4 or 3 seasons behind...remember at this time when he was in the top ten every week (for crunch time winning baskets most of the time).
I'd trade for Vince

Get rid of RJ.
-Vince puts arses in the seats.
-He is a superstar player, RJ is not.
-Hes an allstar.
-I think VC is more consistent, and is capable of doing more damage than RJ.

Jefferson is younger and a better defender, plus Carter has pretty much gotten away from what he did last season.

I'd trade Carter.

Carter and Jefferson both have amazing talent. I just like Vince a lot better, so I'd trade Jefferson, but that's just me.
