Blocking abilities

Has the blocking part of the game been solved by roster updates? I used to average 7 blocks a game with Yao Ming, and it pissed me off a great deal. Even Stro got 4 a game, is it a problem only with Houston (Ming/Stro)?

First of all, I'm not bitching. I'm looking at solutions, and asking if anyone has that. Are you on hater mode or have you eaten TNT? No worries there.

Secondly, I've tried a few sliders from the sliders discussion, have set blocking ability to 0. I prefer to alter shots with my center and power forward, which is what I routinely did with NBA Live 05. Seems to me that every game is a block fest in '06. Without blocking them I lose the game, but I'd actually want to alter their shots without blocks.

I'm trying to ALTER the shots, and I'm asking if there's a way.

apart from adjusting sliders, there is no way to 'not' block shots, if you're going to try and fucking block the shot
the button is called BLOCK/rebound not ADJUST/rebound

sliders: lower the block for user and increase the adjusted shot freq for cpu

Am I going to give up layups left and right? And just play an arcade game? I just want some feedback, and by the way have you ever watched NBA games, or played the game at competitive levels? You don't give open layups. I want to enjoy that kind of realism, it's OK if I don't get it.

btw#2... to be honest, i dont what your on about with the shot altering you did in 2005, the blocking was WORSE in 2005... they adjusted it so that its harder to block in 06 than last year
