Players DBF DB Not Working...

I did an edit on a players.dbf file with DB Commander - I deleted about 50 players from the db(long story), I hit reload a few times to make sure the changes took and saved, closed DB commander, opened NBA Live, loaded the appropriate save/folder, and low and behold, all of the players I deleted are still there.

I went back and opened the players.dbf in DB Commander again and looked to see if maybe the changes didn't take, but they did, all of the players I deleted are still gone from the DB but THEY STILL SHOW UP WHEN I LOAD THE SAVE IN THE GAME!

WHY!? How, if the save is loading correctly and is loading THAT players.dbf, can all of the players I deleted STILL be there?

This isn't the first time I have experienced this kind of thing either.

I don't know what the problem is, but most of us don't delete players from the .dbf, we just change the team to either Referees or Retired Players.

hm.... sometimes it doesnt work when you do something and press reload. u have to edit something and then click on someone else and the dbf will automatically save, then after you finish all your editing, you press the little door on the top of the dbf menu... thats what i do i suppose
