I don't recall, though Doobie thinks my offers are retarded

I think your trade offers are retarded too, which is why I offered you Ariza, Ely, and Giricek for Duncan, Ford, and Diaw

Fri Dec 09, 2005 11:14 am

he offered me Caron Butler and Nick Van Exel For Jamal Tinsley and AK47.

Fri Dec 09, 2005 2:06 pm

 I don't remember any specific trade offers, but I do recall being offered the exact same guys over and over.

i think jae is taking over the previews in january

I choose to ignore that :x

Fri Dec 09, 2005 2:13 pm

haha

i got offered

tj ford
nve
butler

for
lebron james and delonte west

LOL WTF

he explained to he made that offer because he was just after lebron for his assists and rebounds. the offer was bad enough but then the bullshit explanation...

guess i'll be able to post that **cK *a**** pic in the previews now :)

Fri Dec 09, 2005 2:36 pm

tj ford
nve
butler

for
lebron james and delonte west

Holy shit

Anyways I had a look through my email and found these:

Chucky Atkins, Raja Bell for Chris Paul and Luther Head

Maurice Evans for Chris Paul

Eddie Jones, Dan Gadzuric for Antoine Walker and Chris Paul

Fri Dec 09, 2005 4:18 pm

yeah but that was before the season Jae. Doobie have you looked at C. Butler's number this season compared to Kirilenko? Has anyone?

11 points, on 30 FG% < Butler

Fri Dec 09, 2005 6:21 pm

Eddie Jones and Josh Howard for Ronald Murray and TJ Ford worked out for me. :D
Thanks G3000. :D

Fri Dec 09, 2005 11:10 pm

it worked out for me too, thanks Sgrin I needed the assists and rebounds Ford gives and Murray shoots a nice % to go with his 15 points, decent assists, FTM, FT%, an a few intangibles

Sat Dec 10, 2005 3:09 am

Gloat... gloat gloat gloat. 10-3. Gloat.

 what intangibles? (as if they are relevant in fantasy basketball to begin with)

Sat Dec 10, 2005 8:52 am

they are, they jut combine with the stats of other players I have. If he gets a few steals a week but not average 1 or 2 but if I have a guy averaging1 or 2 his few may help the team as a whole, it may not be much to you guys but I don't have the overwhelming fire power some of you guys have but intangibles have carried me, though I lost 3 weeks, if you look at my loses, they were all close in certain categories, take a look at my loss to Jugs and you'll see if I had kept Najera and McDyess I'd won, but I didn't so I lost, but those few intangibles keep me afloat. Also, when I have lost I've had player play below their averages during the week and instead of them averaging out for a week they just never did, Like Duncan, even Yahoo had to admit he had a slump week last week which hurt me as well. It happens. My thing is to strengthen what I'm already good at and give up my weak areas to do so. I'm weak in points and FGM so I'd give up some point to receive a player that boosts my blks, rebounds and assists because I'm stronger in those than anything else, plus I keep us with some of you guys' strengths and weaknesses, bad trade offer or not. Though, stat wise I thought Butler for Kirilenko was a good trade because Butlers stats would have boosted Doobie strong spots and also would have helped his weaker FG%. I would have gotten rebounds and blks but weaker FG% which is already weak for me. (just an example, I seem to keep bringing this up)

Sat Dec 10, 2005 9:13 am

what are you blabbering about?

murray has no intangibles-

he averages .6 steals and .2 blocks a game

he doesn't hit 3's and his ft% & apg are subpar for a guard

the best thing about flip is his fg% but he's a streaky shooter

Sat Dec 10, 2005 10:14 am

Not talking about averages, but if he gives me a game with 1 steal it goes along with whoever else on my teams get alot of steals, it was an example, he gives me decent assists for a guard coming off the bench at that, thus intangible. I expected Murray to be Ben Gordan like this year and before his back spasms he was doing that, only for you when you had him, LOL. He has been doing decent though since I picked him up again. I take what all my players do and combine them because that's the kind of team I have, I wasn't available for the draft nor did I really understand what this league was about, I was asked to joined at the last minute and never really caught on til the season began. Was doing quite well before the losing started, LOL. Blab that Air-Out Gordon. How ya liking Ben Gordon and the huge numbers he put for you for two games?

Sat Dec 10, 2005 10:16 am

Probably a bit more than you're liking Luther Head sitting on the bench lol.

Sat Dec 10, 2005 11:59 am

probably right but Gordon maybe on the bench soon as I see his listed as "iffy"

Anyway, I still want to part with Butler, sorta so what's up with Billups?

Mon Dec 12, 2005 11:02 am

i've had enough of your bullshit offers and bullshit reasons for thinking the offers are fair :cussing:

try it elsewhere

air gordon wrote:i've had enough of your bullshit offers and bullshit reasons for thinking the offers are fair :cussing:

 You offered Nash and AI2 for toast.

Mon Dec 12, 2005 1:00 pm

Air, I didn't make you an offer so what are you talking about. I asked did you want to part with Billups, you can make any offer you want if at all. Did I send you an offer that I don't know about?

Heck alot of these guys talk about bad offers but I have a email stack of bad offers, from some of the same guys but none of them actually know what I think of the offers they made, it's a game and if you don't like my offers reject them or make another proposal or a bettet one, which just means one that's suits you and I'll probably decline it and move on. I'm grown so I want waste time fussing over trivial things like that. I am enjoying this fantasy bball even though I lost 3 in a dagum row.

Mon Dec 12, 2005 2:14 pm

sorry im still traumatized from the lebron james offer and bullshit reasoning...

offer away if you like but stop giving those rationalizations. no matter how you spin it- van exel, ford, butler for lebron james is not an even deal. thanks for gordon :)

kevin- i'd keep quiet if i were you. chris kaman is outplaying all of your centers. watch out for the accept button

Tue Dec 13, 2005 12:14 am

get over it, LOL besides no matter what you think of my reasoning it still comes down to me helping my team and that's the same for all the trade offers I've received.

Tue Dec 13, 2005 4:40 am

Jae: If we had our matchup last week, I would've beaten you 9-4

Would've been 11-2 if you haven't edged me by 2 rebounds and 1 block.

Tue Dec 13, 2005 4:47 am

Yeah I'm not surprised, it was a bad week. Chandler and co. really fucked me over.

Tue Dec 13, 2005 7:25 am

whats worse then the GM who rips off the dumb guy on trades is the GM who constantly offers shit trades with no conscious

Pretty much everyone has to put the shit filter on high for your offers

LOL jae- 9-4 was a bad week for you?

Tue Dec 13, 2005 9:46 am

Hey dudetts , Doobie is having a FireSale . Send me smart offers and you can get any player for the right price. Werd

Tue Dec 13, 2005 12:08 pm
