Bernie Bickerstaff fired, new GM announced

Charlotte, North Carolina (AP) – Today Charlotte Bobcats Owner Bob Johnson fired Bobcats GM Bernie Bickerstaff , he was also fired as a coach.

“I’m very disappointed to say that, but he didn’t do a good job and I don’t want to see this franchise get even worse.” – announced Bob Johnson today.

“I’m very unhappy about it, but if that’s what this franchise needs, I understand” – responded Bickerstaff during press conference.

Bickerstaff was ‘Cats GM and coach for 1 year, and his team went 18-64. He drafted Emeka Okafor in 2004 NBA Draft with 2nd pick overall. “We feel very sorry for Bernie and his family” – said Emeka Okafor – “But we have to move on, and we hope that new GM and coach will make something happen with this franchise.”

“I would like to announce that new Bobcats coach and GM is Ivan Shchipansky” – said Bob Johnson to the press.

“This is a big opportunity for me, I will not let this franchise down” – said Ivan.

Woah, it's good to see that the Bobcats are hiring on good solid potential.. :D
I admire your attempt in editing the coaches cyberfaces! Any who can even attempt that has an A in my book.

Keep it up with the updates...I'd to see how Ivan Shchipansky fairs in the harsh league of NBA coaches!

The pic came out too blurry, and the headshape was Bickerstaff's, so i look like I got hit in a face with a pan and it looks like i'm mad...lol

'Cats sign Sprewell

Charlotte, North Carolina (AP) -- The Bobcats General Manager made another succesful move. This time he brought Latrell Sprewell to Charlotte for 1 year. As per team policy the salary was not announced.

"Latrell is a veteran that'll bring our young team some leadership" - said Ivan Shchipansky, 'Cats GM.

Latrell was not signed by any team during the ofseason and was on the market for a long time. But right after the season started some teams were looking to sign him.

"I chose Charlotte because I really like this organization and will get a lot of playing time in here." - said Latrell.

Sprewell will be Bobcats' starting shooting guard. Kareem Rush will be moved to 7th man, right behind Raymond Felton.

The team also announced that Sprewell will wear his usual number 8. And they presented his jersey.
