Kobe's stock should be higher than ever by the way he's playing. If I'm the Lakers I wouldn't even do KG for Kobe straight up based on this season so far.

Say what you will about Kobe, but at the end of the day - throwing out the no-trade clause here - the only way he should be leaving the Lakers is if they're getting a good, fair deal in return. That means another top NBA player coming their way, plus some decent role playing filler since they're probably not going to be trading position for position with the stars.
Trading Kobe shouldn't even be an option for the Lakers right now. They've made a commitment to him as the future of the franchise, they've invested plenty of money and plenty of hopes in him. It's hardly time to be giving up on him now.

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, are expecting the couple's second child in May, spokesman Rob Pelinka said Tuesday.
The Bryants have a daughter, Natalia, who turns 3 in January.
"In addition to their excitement, Kobe and Vanessa have been sharing a lot of laughs because after hitting game-winning shots for the Lakers, Kobe has been making late-night food runs for his wife's pregnancy cravings, only to get home with the food and find out her craving has changed," Pelinka said.
The story was first reported by "Entertainment Tonight."
The 27-year-old Bryant is in his 10th season with the Lakers.

ok, at least explain this part: "Kobe has been making late-night food runs for his wife's pregnancy cravings, only to get home with the food and find out her craving has changed"
What the hell do you mean by her craving has changed? If she's pregnant, she'll have food cravings. To have it "changed" would mean she doesn't have cravings. The way it's being said is like Kobe coming home with a shitload of food and his wife going, "oh, my craving changed. I'm not pregnant anymore!"
Wed Nov 09, 2005 11:39 am
Doesnt mean she aint pregnant no more, just means that she ain t hungry no more.
Wed Nov 09, 2005 11:42 am
No it means she has a craving for something different when he gets there.
Wed Nov 09, 2005 11:49 am
Dude's still got it. I'd give my right arm to tap that.
Oh and we might as well add some pics, so we can all get a visual image of the woman he gets to bang.
Kobe's the man.
Wed Nov 09, 2005 11:53 am
So whenever soemthnig bad happens all Kobe-fans just have to say is, "He still got a hot wife' and it's the end of the argument?
Wed Nov 09, 2005 1:13 pm
I'd end the argument right there yea.
Wed Nov 09, 2005 1:40 pm
Why do we have a thread about this? Is it really that big a deal?
She is hot though
Wed Nov 09, 2005 1:44 pm
I dont know.. as I said before.. it seems like Kobe's always popular on the forums.. and a lot of new kobe posters have popped up on the forums in the past week...
Wed Nov 09, 2005 1:49 pm
Man... Id bang her any day... any day.... Man... she is one fine girl.

Okay, first off I must say I really don't like Kobe Bryant, but I like basketball. Being that I like ball, I see Kobe has changed a little. His numbers are.... I don't want to say it but its close to someone else...
Jordan in 1986-87 ..... Kobe (3games)
FG %- ...... 48.2% ...... 49.4%
3PT%- .....18.2% ....... 0%
FT%- ...... 85.7% ...... 96.2%
RPG- ...... 5.2 ...... 6.7
APG- ...... 4.9 ...... 4.7
STL- ......2.88 ...... .33
BLK- ......1.52 ...... 1
PPG- ......37.1 ...... 36.3
last game hasn't been updated but he did score 37 vs the hawks
numbers look real close, at least FG%, PPG, and APG wise. Jordan still is be far a superior defender but on the offensive side Kobe is really pushing it! Can Kobe keep it up?
What's really impressing me this year is his FG% and less 3point shots. I know it's early, but could he possibly keep it up?
Odom numbers are looking good averaging a double double so far.
Wed Nov 09, 2005 2:46 pm
How come start a new thread for Kobe?
Wed Nov 09, 2005 3:14 pm
all of the kobe threads have been merged, sans the Paul Pierce one
please: to all bryant fans and the like, please obstain from being overzealous. a player having a single thread devoted to him is sufficient
Wed Nov 09, 2005 7:15 pm
Another big scoring game while shooting above 50%
