What happened??

edit

Shane Battier needed eight stitches to close a cut on his head after an elbow from Kelvin Cato on Friday night. Battier was able to return to the game.

cato jumped up, and when he landed dropped an elbow on shane's head. he starting bleeding PROFUSELY seconds later. typing this doesn't do it justice, you have to look at the actual thing, it was nasty as hell.

I saw it. It was surprising. The blood just started pouring from his head. Nasty.

The scalp (skin on top of head) is filled with blood vessels and is very thin. It will bleed like a fountain when cut, I sliced my scalp when i was in college and it poured all over my face like Battier, I only needed three stitches, eight is a lot.

Wow, it looks like he was just gonna get ready to play again,

Shane Battier is the kinda player kids should want to be like. They all want the Big Dunks of Tmac or the dribbling of AI but, shane is a guy who just plays all facets of the game real well. Quality Player.

That is some nasty ass bleeding. I've never actually seen a player bleed that much before, especially from an elbow to the head.

damn right.. (Y) that's why i like him: D and good character. so pissed that sophomore slump threw him off (although people didn't expect him to drop 30 points on a team in his rookie year). straight up quality NBA player who isn't just all hustle, but most of his skills developed because of time in the gym. (jae better not fuck with me on this one)
