I'm sure the Raps would love to trade Jalen but i can't see any realistic scenario where another team would take on his contract.

Even if a team was looking to clear cap space, Jalen's contract expires in 2 years and there a ton of big contracts that end this year (Van Horn, Tim Thomas, Hardaway, etc.).

The realism in that trade is downright laughable. A young big man and a young athletic shooter for an overpaid, ballhogging, one-dimensional guy past his prime? Let's talk about making some realistic trades here.

Even if both parties agreed, it's impossible to trade Jalen for Q-Rich or Frye, the league would stop it.

Jalen makes $15.6 million, Q-Rich makes $6M and Frye makes $2M.

You have to trade Jalen for another $15.6M player (or group of players) unless the team has cap space like the Bobcats, and even then i doubt the Cats would sign almost-retired Jalen when they're looking to build for the future.
