I wouldn't rule out Redd the way he's playing, though as I said in the other thread it's not uncommon for players to open the season with big performances and then drop back to their usual quota by the end of the first month. AI and Kobe remain the most likely candidates.

Have to go with Kobe. The lakers have no chance whatsoever if he doesn't score at least 35 % of his teams points. I mean they only have one proven scorer in Odom, and he will play to far away from the hoop to be overly effective. Mihm, Brown can not be counted on for putting significant numbers two games in a row. How many 20 points games do you think Smush Parker will have?
They'll need a dream season where everything goes right in order to do anything significant.
Iverson atleast has some offensive options in his team, so it's just a matter of him wanting to share the wealth with Webber, Korver hitting open 3's, Iguodala slashing and dunking his way to 12 points a night.

Last season would suggest that Kobe dominating the ball isn't a successful strategy. Odom certainly won't be effective with Kobe scoring 30+ per game, it's not always going to work out as it did against Denver.

Iverson. The team hasn't made any significant changes from last year and I don't see Iverson playing differently from how he played last year.

Well they're all certainly capable, but if i had to pick one...

LeBron. He's still so young & improving, last year's Cavs were a complete mess, and now he has some real threats to stretch that defense out, no more quintiple-teaming LeBron as he attacks the basket...unless you want Yell & Damon Jones setting more 3 point records.

AI, i'm assuming CWebb is going to gel w/ the team and take his share of the scoring. If not, then yeah AI will score 30+ ppg and Sixers will have a $20M rebounder, just like last year. Sixers youngsters Iggy/Korver/Samuel were very good, i would think they want to try giving them more shots this year.

Kobe & the Lakers are anyone's guess. The triangle is so team dependent on uses so much passing from big men that Kobe's scoring is dependent on Mihm & Kwame playing well, drawing double teams, and passing out well. Shaq is one of the best ever at drawing double teams and passing out of them, Kobe made a living off it. But i'm sure looking at their bigs, PJ's crew will adjust things somehow.

I got to go with Redd. The last person to score more than 71 points in the first 2 games of a season is Michael Jordan.I am not saying Redd is better than Jordan I am simpley saying Redd could and very posibley wil.

all 4 could do it, mcgrady the least likely because of the system in/coach he plays for

with all those scorers in cleveland, i think James is the next least likely not to hit 30 a nite

that leaves iverson and bryant

Agreed on that. With the guys around him, for James to average 30+ the entire team would be putting up like 120 per game combined.

Redd's best chance to get 30 was last season. It wouldn't be in the teams best interest for him to get that many points this season. I'll say he'll get 23-26ppg. TJ Ford will factor into it a lot since he's really active, quick as hell and splits the defence at will, but yeah Bucks need to give the ball to Simmons & Magloire too.

Kobe and Iverson are my picks! I wouldn't like Lebron averaging 30 ppg because he's so young and has so much room for improvement and if you think about it if he gets 30 ppg at age 20-21 then he'll probably averaged 40+ ppg at one point in his career.

Kobe and AI might reach it..
Lebron will be close.
Tmac, Pierce and Redd i think will be 26-28 point scorers

Iverson is the only one I'd expect to be up there, and possibly Kobe, no one else.

certainly Kobe will be the one, cause since shaq gone to miami all the triangle offence variations will be based on the Kobe' s capabilities.

Next one will probably be Iverson as always.

LeBron will score at will now... They can no longer defend him with three guys at all times.
