I was at the mall tonight and bumped into Leandro Barbosa. It was kind of cool. He was buying some adidas.

No I wasn't going to bother him. He was with his girlfriend and another friend, they were speaking Portugese. I am tall fella so I towered over him. I think he just wanted some sneakers. The lady helping him asked if he played for the Suns, and he acknowledged it. His girl was a cheerleader from the Suns I think.

I always thought it was against team policy for players to date cheerleaders.

BARBOSA!
If he can just learn to slow it down when necessary he'll be great, well good, but I like to say great for Suns.

Yeah there were some kids going up to him, but he was left alone... This mall is three stories and probably had 12,000 people in it. He looked unassuming, so many people probably passed him by without knowing.

Can't believe he was BUYING adidas, he has a contract there right? Must've been a shoe-only contract or something.

It's always cool to see a basketball player face-to-face, even if it isn't a superstar.. Barbosa can be a pretty good player in the future, but like Colin said, he just needs to know when to slow down.

Yeah, that's pretty strange. Leandrinho is sponsored by Adidas, so THEY should pay him to wear their shoes.

Yar, his girl was American and he was speaking perfect english with her, he just spoke his Portugese with his buddy.
A buddy of mine bumped into Oliver Miller there... he ran the other way afraid Oliver would eat him.

Yeah, they should be giving you shoes to wear to a selection for you to pick for free. Maybe he was just checking stuff out? Or maybe he was just picking stuff up and going to reimburse it later on with adidas?

Leandrinho was great for us in the last America Cup. I think he will prove himself as a decent starter in the nba in some years.
