Yeah. He was steady, but had the misfortune of playing for some shitty teams.
But I think Drexler was easily the 2nd best SG of the 90's.

If we're talking about overall careers, then I'll concede Drexler was the second best. But speaking from a strictly 90's perspective, Drexler takes the cake. He never sold his teamates or organisation short despite their shitness (somthing tmac should learn from) and he was so consistant. no up and down's. The only difference is Clyde won a ring. But if you put Mitch on that team and I have no doubts that they would have won that year either.

Drexler takes the cake

You mean Rock, right?
Yeah. Drexler did have a rep as an unhappy camper in sour situations, compared to Mitch. Ring-wise, they are equal :D , since Mitch had one for his ride with the Lakers. The motive why I prefer Drexler is that I see him as a better all-around player. But boy, was Richmond's shot sweet...

That's a bit strange beacause the Sonics were one of the most telecasted teams in Europe in the mid 90's.

I was living in Argentina in the 90's... But I don't know how come I didn't see him play 'cos I had ESPN, NBC, and TNT there, and I watched almost all the Bulls' and Lakers' games in the 95-96, 96-97 and 97-98 seasons, maybe I just don't remember him

Yep I do mean Richmond, my apologies i just woke up.

The motive why I prefer Drexler is that I see him as a better all-around player.

Interesting. Drexlers biggest knock against his was his on the ball defense. Richmond was no Eddie Jones in his hayday, but he would always guard the other teams best guard and occasionally small forward. And remember, the players he had behind him were useless. Olden Polyneice is a prime example of that.

And once he finally did get some help in Brian Grant, they made the playoffs and won more games againt the sonics than the defending 2 time champion rockets did.

The only thing I'll really concede is that Drexler was a better athlete. But when it comes to scoring, give me a skilled shooter over an athlete anyday.

Can't argue with that, unless it's Dennis Scott we're talking here :D
By better all around play, Drexler concerned, I meant his playmaking and rebounding abilities rather than his defense wich was perceivedly iffy.

That's my opinion to save you the trouble of making threads and me to answer them!

Why do you guys dislike threads that start a discussion? Plus your not the only person on this forum whos opinion matters. I could give two shits what you think so next time you see a topic dont bother going into it.

because you make uncreative topics that could've been merged into one instead of 5 separate threads for each position

So you have to be creative to start a discussion. Would you rather I make another topic about the dress code. Why would one topic about 5 different things be better. Ths is better to me because people put reasons and stats and it wouldnt be all mixed in.
Go Knicks Go.

Probably he meant that...he's an idiot, you just have to read his sig: "P.Ewing best Center ever"... What the hell?!?!?!? Have you ever seen Wilt Chamberlain play? I guess you don't. And he's making a thread about who's the best in something? No way, nah mean (sorry Brothas, it needed to be there)

who cares what he meant, let the discussion continue. Its a decent topic with some good ideas being presented without "oh P.Ewing is a dumbcunt, ha ha ha." If all you're doing is that you're even more of a retard than him. At least he is trying to put forth the effort.
