townsville makes a huge comeback to beat the razorbacks...and Nick Horvath could be out for the season with a dislocated patellar

lol wtf is a patellar?
Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.

Shows you how out of touch I am with the NBL, I wasn't aware it had started. Will have to try to catch a couple of games on Fox, at least until the NBA season starts. :P

I chose to go to a house party instead of the game and found out early this morning that we won last night.
Bah!

side note: party was good, lots of crotch grabbing...killer hangover, must sleep now.

You know what im REALLY pissed about...we only seem to get imports who are just interested in padding their stats so they can get a big money contract in europe or back in the states.

I'd love it if redhedge decided he wanted to stay in perth for the rest of his career.

Anyone else catch the Brisbane/Townsville game last Saturday? One of the best NBL games I've seen in a long time, great comeback by Brisbane. I thought they were down and out at the half but what a run in the third! Well-earned victory, though Townsville were right to complain about that Copeland three; definitely one foot over the line before he elevated for that.

EDIT: Also thought I'd split the 05/06 stuff and unsticky the original.

I havent been to any games this season but will make my way there after school finishes... damn, since Brissie's Bryant Matthews left, I don't have a favourite player to root for anymore. I guess I got plenty of time to choose someone.

Just announced that Victoria will get a second team next season! Someone bought the old Giants liscense so they can set-up a team. Now I can finally support a club as I despise the Tigers, being an old Magic/Titans fan. It's funny how we used to have 4 teams in the 90's (Giants, Magic, Tigers and the god ol Geelong Supercats) but it gradually diminished to 1. Hopefully this will further boost bball in the state and get some crowds out to hte games, which are expected to be played at vodafone arena.

Woooooooo....
I decided to go to the Perth game tonight. AWESOME comeback by the cats, they were getting slayed by the tigers in the first quarter.

I think Scott Fisher listened when i said they should be trapping on the wings!!
They trapped like badass mofo's. :)

Hmm, do i go to the saturday game or go to a pool party instead... :?

The cats showed promise tonight, but a lot of my female friends have large breasts...one to ponder i guess.

Pool party without question. The cats will be there for another 14 games or so, breasts are fleeting.

yeah that was a hot game I was there and was thinking i wasted my time cong to watch this during the 1st half....then 2nd half was just an awesome comeback to hold them to 28 points in the 2nd half with 9 i points in the 4th quarter.

Adam Gibson got a huge wrap in the locker rooms for inspiring the defense intensity.

Pirates won last night. (Y) Great performance for Helms, bit disappointed he couldn't hit 40 though. Abney had a great game for the Crocs too, 20 and 11 in the first half alone.
