I picked LBJ at #2. In my mind hes the best fantasy player.

I'd pick KG... LeBron has more capable teammates now to share the ball, so his scoring/rebounds might dip a bit, whereas KG is virtually everything to the Wolves. Since stats are what counts in Fantasy League, KG is going to dominate again.

As good of players they are, I rather pick KG. Now Cassell and Sprewell are gone, he will get more touches with the ball.

Garnett fills the stat sheet more than Lebron does.

Lebron will be good for 25-6-6

Garnett will be good for 24-14-5

i think that the only thing kg does better for me then lbj are the rebounds. i dont think that LBJ's #s will go down. i think they will stay the same or go up... i think hes only getting better and his jumper is only getting better. last year he hit over 1.3 3's per game... he gets more steals, more assists, more points. the big dip is rebounds, and there isnt a big difference in blocks. (kg=1.4) (lebron 0.7) but i think lebron will average at least 1 bpg this year

KG's blocks will probably go up a little bit this year. Last year he was on a bum knee all year.

Apart from the fact that KG averages double the amont of blocks LeBron does.

It's a tough decision. They will both give you many fantasy points. I still think KG has the edge over Lebron. As some people said before, he is the only one on the team that can put up nice stats. In the Cavs, you got Hughes, Marshall and Ilgauskas. Lebron's numbers will probably go down a little bit but KG is a perenial all-star that will give you high numbers night in and night out.

i predict lebron to get wade-like #s in blocks this year. at least 1 per. in fantasy i dont see a big difference between 0.7 and 1.4 anyway. i can get 1 guy who does nothing but block (foyle) and that gets erased. its not like lebron gets 0 and kg gets 3

assuming both guys have 4 games in one week and they both hit their averages, that's at least 5 for KG and maybe 2 or 3 for LBJ

that is a big difference because blocks are very difficult to attain.

yeh sure you can pick up a guy like foyle but he doesn't give you much in any other category

i'd go with KG since the wolves haven't made changes that takes away from KG numbers much.

KG will give you better fantasy points for now but LBJ will eventually managed to averaged 10 apg and his steals and blocks will go up as he matures his game and he will even out and surpassed KG.

lebron because whenever we downplay or underestimate him he makes a fool of everyone. kg will be default double-triple teamed this season, i dont know if his numbers will go up that much. cav's new acquisitions are just going to make lebron more efficient.

I'm more on the lines of magius here... You now see that LeBron has more able help and thus doesn't get that many touches as he did last season. I think you guys are wrong... I think LeBron will get more of everything... Now that he does have the help that he's never had.

LeBron has been the guy to beat the first two seasons and Cleveland has never really had anyone that can spread the floor and make the defenses play more honestly. Hughes is a very tricky guy to guard as he's a great slasher and thus he needs to be guarded and Jones can hit the three with Marshall... I see LeBron having more space to make his own plays and score actually more than last season and when defense adjusts, he can just give it up to a guy playing against a mis-match and get the assist out of that. It's going to be more easy for LeBron this season than ever before... His points will probably stay the same, but I expect his rebounds and assists to soar through the roof... Why, well assists due to the fact that when he attracts double and triple teams, he can find the open team mate and they can finally knock it down... Rebounds, well if you are not shooting the ball 70% of the time anymore, you are in a better situation of getting a board...

Hughes is probably going to take the toughest defensive guard duties and thus leaving LeBron with an easier job and the ability to get more boards on the defensive end too.

For LeBron, I predict pretty much the same scoring, with higher percentages, higher rebounds and a lot higher assists. Maybe a slight drop on the defensive stats steals and blocks...

Garnett on the other hand will most likely face double teams all season long... Szerbiak and Hudson really need to stay healthy for KG to get his numbers going... There's basically no one else who can force the defenses to play more honest.

It's a tough call... I have to fantasy teams going, in one I've got LeBron and in the other I've got KG... But as someone wrote, you can't go wrong with either one, so that much is guarranteed... You get great stats no matter which you pick at number 1.
