i think he can be a good player but in a few years. if he puts effort into his game everyday, i think he can be a good role player. we can use him a lot since theo is getting old and not going to be here for long.

by the way, did you hear that nate said that he wants make d-miles an allstar the same way he did with rashad lewis.

Hopefully he can get his minutes this year. In his last game of the season vs. the Lakers last year he put up 13 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal in 24 min. That's pretty impressive. Telfair really plays well with this kid.

All I got to say is Travis Outlaw is the shit. Period. He'll kick out Miles for the starting small foward spot because Miles will never amount to anything successful in the NBA.

i agree that travis is going to be an allstar if given minutes. as far the issue with miles go, he has to show the coaches that he is worthy of the minutes that he plays.

Miles is...ehh..he ..idk

I think Nate should spend his time in Travis. Travis is young..and is getting a great shot..plus he's tall and can flyyyyyy.

nate said that he is going to name two captains in a few days, but he might change the captians once more cause there isn't a true leader or captain in the blazers as of right now.

outlaw actually turned out to be a good gamble from that 2003 highschool bananza draft.

has he included range on his jumpshot? i hear he hit can the occasional 3. but i still consider him "just a leaper."

(yes.. jsmoove is "just a leaper" but he's getting better with the handling and jumpshot, as well as owning good blocking timing)

has he included range on his jumpshot?

I believe so. I've been constantly hearing that his mid-range game is starting to become effective and that he added some muscle over the off-season.

Outlaw has added a jumpshot within a summer-length of time while Darius Miles still hasn't learned how to shoot properly as of yet. I just found that a bit interesting.

Miles is a waste or roster space.

Yup, you guys have him that big contract and now he has nothing to play for. He is the same player he was as a rookie which shows he has 0 work ethic.

if he wants to he can be an allstar, but he doesn't try and after he got that fat contract, he didn't try to improve any part of his game. the good thing is we have 5 small forwards and if miles turned out to be the same person as he was last, a trade is going to happen.

nate said will take out any player in the game who doesn't play D. well, miles D is good, but its his jumpshot which doesn't worth anything. he can only make 10 footers. 3 point is out of question.

Who do you all think the 2 captains will be??

Usually you want a veteran to be a captain or..someone who is very mature...

Theo Ratlif is their veteran with 10 years...

Then Ruben is there second oldest with 7 years..

So hmm..I don't really know..

nate said that he is going to change the 2 captains after a few weeks. i think that theo, ruben, zach, przyblilla are the four candidates to be captains.
