Foyle is still a great help, coming off the bench.

I agree tho, he's good to have off the bench to block those shots. The numbers he put up late last season against the suns & spurs were really good.

Well, 10-6 so far, doing good... Now if only Baron Davis can improve on the horrid 5/15 on average from the field the pastures will be much greener. His 8.9 assists per game surely do help, though...

I can see the playoffs in the distance... and I'm near sighted... 8-)

Well Weaver... I think your return meant good things for the Warriors. They are in first place! (Y) Congrats lol

Sun Jan 01, 2006 1:24 pm

Hmm... after 5 straight losses, we're now on a 3 game winning sdtreak, including 2 away against Houston, and , more importantly, Dallas... (Y)

What do you think the Warriors will do with Dunleavy after this season? Will they trade him? because he hasn't been playing good :|

Sun Jan 01, 2006 6:21 pm

I've been a fan of the Warriors for awhile.. um, when they had Antawn Jamison, Arenas, Boykins.... Dunno when that was. 2 or 3 years maybe.

This years team is really fun to watch, up tempo and scores a LOT. I wouldn't call myself a diehard or anything, I just gotta have a western conference fav or two incase Miami doesn't pull through (Y)

If he makes it past the trade deadline, he's probably out as a free agent, since his contract ends this summer. I'd rather we traded him off before february so that some team will bite inhis youth and give us something in return... (Y)

hey, good, I'll add you to the bandwagoner list, then. 8-) (Y)

they had Antawn Jamison, Arenas, Boykins

GSW even had Larry "I got great D" Hughes.

Mon Jan 02, 2006 4:35 am

i remember Jamison dumping back to back 50pnt games. That was awesome. Back in the day when he played PF.

 Not back then... and he still gambles too much on defense to be considered a 'great defender'...

I haven't seen any Wizards games this year,m but doesn't he log most if his minutes at the 4? :?:

I did. They would not listen.

sometimes i think this whole "he gambles too much for steals" thing with hughes is just a stereotype/overused I don't think he's worthy of 1st All NBA team but he's still a good defender.

nevermind the havoc he causes in the passing lanes and easy baskets he gets for his team.

Maybe there should be a 'failed steals resulting in one less defender' category...

:( warriors slacking off and apparently heading to that familar terroritory

ironically the struggles have been since the Artest rumors came about.... 3-10 since december 18th and 0-5 this year

Sun Jan 15, 2006 10:40 pm

Yup. Blame on the defense. Or the complete lack of it, to be exact. It's still too early to tell , though... :|

Unfortunately dunleavy already sign an extension. I hope he gets traded for Artest.

Tue Jan 24, 2006 12:33 pm

lol i don't think indy wants another austin croshere type of player.... :D

Tue Jan 24, 2006 7:55 pm

Well, guys, now all my minor doubts about trading for Artest have vanished... This team has abolished defense, and something must be done about it, FAST! :|

Sun Feb 12, 2006 8:14 am

looks like they going to be in lottery.. again :(

Sun Feb 12, 2006 9:03 am

Too trigger happy as usual... Th eproblem seems to be that Montgomery is not assertive enough to handle his players and discipline them. I think we need a new coach.

Mon Feb 13, 2006 2:24 pm

Been a fan for a while...I live in the Bay Area, after all.

Overpaid players: Dunleavy, Fisher, Foyle

Monty isn't good enough as a coach, but he won't be ousted for a good long while, since Mullin'll be around for a while. And so will the overpaid players, because of Mullin.

Biedrins should start in the place of Foyle.
