Clippers Sign Six Free Agents

The Clippers today signed free agents Jan Jagla, Amal McCaskill, Boniface N’Dong, Jared Reiner, Fred Vinson and Frank Williams it was announced by Vice President of Basketball Operations Elgin Baylor. Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not released.

Jagla averaged 6.7 points and 3.3 rebounds with Quakenbrueck (Germany) in 2004-05 after three years at Penn State, where he was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten as a junior in 2003-04.

McCaskill has averaged 1.8 points and 1.9 rebounds per game in four NBA seasons with Orlando, San Antonio, Atlanta and Philadelphia. The 6’11” McCaskill played in Beirut last season.

N’Dong averaged 14.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 blocks for J.D.A. Dijon in France last season. The 7’0” N’Dong averaged 8.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game for the Denver Nuggets entry in the 2005 Reebok Vegas Summer League.

Reiner averaged 1.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 6.9 minutes in 19 games played with the Chicago Bulls last season after signing as a free agent following four years at the University of Iowa.

Vinson averaged 19.8 points, 1.0 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game for Guaiqueries de Margarita in Venezuela last season. The 6’4” Vinson has played in 13 NBA games over two seasons with Atlanta and Seattle.

Williams has averaged 2.9 points and 1.9 assists in his first three NBA seasons after being selected by Denver with the 25th overall selection in the 2002 NBA Draft. Williams spent the first two years of his career with the New York Knicks before being traded to Chicago, where he played during the 2004-05 campaign.

Im saying they have more people too play. Before this signing they had like 1 or 2 players backing up the starters. Now they got more. Most will probley sit on the IR but its nice to know their there.

These aren't guranteed contracts, just guys for training camp, a lot of them will be waived anyways..

Im saying they have more people too play. Before this signing they had like 1 or 2 players backing up the starters. Now they got more.

But they're bad players. What's the point on having more and more shitty players??
