they need a tough no nonsense coach to whip them into shape and motivate them(JVanGundy)

I could go on forever
no you couldn't
Thanks, that was really productive...are you saying that you thought Wilkins was a good coach for the Raptors or are just pointing out the fact that I exagerated?
the latter

Have you seen any Raptors games?
Yeah let's blame injured players on the season the Raptors had, since they were on the floor when they were losing....
Yeah, that would be great, that way he gets the losingest record way much more difficult to reach.
I guess he has since the Wiz faced the raptors 4 times winning just one, maybe that's why he thinks Wilkens was supposed to stay there
Have you seen any Raptors games? This guy is way out of touch with today's Nba. Doesn't play any zone, didn't define the players' roles, doesn't motivate them, screwed up sub patterns, doesn't run plays for the hot shooter, I could go on forever...

That was very eloquently put. Nice to know you're setting the example for other posters Mr. Moderator.
Maybe when you're last in the league in opponents fg% allowing them to shoot 46% it might be time to try some zone.
Far from it....
No he got them into that mess and Antonio and Alvin pulled them out with their leadership by defeating a bunch of crappy teams.
So what does that mean then? He's just a mediocre coach that has been coaching for the longest.
No, they are pissed off that they didn't make the playoffs. Wilkins had an opportunity to get this team to the playoffs by just grabbing a few wins while they were injured in December and January. Had he done that the team still would have been in the hunt and would have played harder possibly getting them the seventh or eigth seed.
I guess not...
At least his dick wont get lost up his arse like what happened when Phil Jackson decided to take over the Lakers.
I guess I can speak for myself and I dont need you to answer any questions directed towards me you.
NBA_Fan_23 wrote: And who's to say a zone would've been a magical cure for everything?
It was more Morris Peterson who was a leader on the floor.
What next? Are you gonna blame him for being an american coach and that he couldn't make the fans in Toronto happy so there was less enthusiasm from the fans and thats why they lost? Seriously, you blame Lenny for every bad run the Raptors have had.
I wonder why you don't talk about him guiding them to beating the Knicks in 2001 and coming within a Vince Carter fadeaway of the Conference finals....
TheBob wrote: from what I've seen doesn't bother coaching until the playoffs
No, what it means is he a legend becuase he has been able to coach in many different era's and coach the most games so he can't be mediocre if he can stick around for this long.
Wait, didn't you just say that last season it was Antonio Davis and Alvin Williams who took this team to the playoffs last year? Well, if thats what you think, then why do you blame Lenny for "not getting more wins" if it's the players who win the games. And in December and January? Wasn't Vince hurt and Antonio in a doghouse? Oh wait, that's Lenny's fault too.
