Cavs sign 3 big men

"In the BEACON JOURNAL, Brian Windhorst reports that the Cavaliers have signed Jahidi White, Obinna Ekezie and Zendon Hamilton to non-guaranteed contracts and the three will battle it out in training camp starting next week. After picking up Alan Henderson two weeks ago, the Cavs now have four healthy big men who figure to be part of the rotation. Zydrunas Ilgauskas will start at center and either Drew Gooden or Donyell Marshall will start at power forward. Henderson will backup both positions."

Well i dont know much about hamilton and ekezie but jahidi white could be an effective backup i mean he is strong and a good rebounder.

It's a smart move by the Cavs, even if they're not stars, they can definitely contribute, as little as that may seem.

Are thouse guys even gonna be on the bench, maybe white will get 12th man spot, but thouse other 2 will be on IL whole season. Waste of money for Cavs

actually i think the cavs will only keep one of them, as the other two will be released at the end of training camp.
white and ekezie have a chance, but zendon hamilton sucks ass..

just as mentioned above, they're probably going to just pick one of them and release the other two. Just like what the Raps are doing with the 3 pg's they're getting. they're just for training camp and the preseason and they're going to pick the best out of the three

As it says in the WHOLE article, they are signing those three for Training Camp and Pre-Season and whoever does the best they are keeping, and they are doing the same with three guards, Mike Wilks, Blake Stepp and some other guy.

looks like diop is gonna have some stiff competition in the all you can eat buffet department
