Frahm latest addition to Wolves' revamped backcourt

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Timberwolves continue to work on remodeling the backcourt, signing Richie Frahm on Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Frahm is the latest addition to Minnesota's revamped backcourt. The Timberwolves traded Sam Cassell, have no intention of re-signing free agent Latrell Sprewell and waived guard Fred Hoiberg, who has a career-threatening heart condition.

Not a huge move, but he is a great shooter with a great work ethic. But he is slow and not very good defensively and he cannot create his own shot.

All in all, he won't play much but he's here just to replace Hoiberg's shooting and locker room leadership.

I know him his white right?hope he have some playing time.richie is a good looking player anyway.

We obviously took Frahm to replace Fred Hoiberg, where it says in the article has a heart condition. So if you look at it a certain way, the Wolves not making the playoffs this year might have been a blessing in disguise.
