Wasn't he close to making it back into the league before he had that motorcycle accident a couple of years back? He might still be able to play at least 20 minutes per game, but I think any team that takes a chance on him will tire of his antics very quickly and let him go...which is a shame, because he does remain a rather underrated player because of the craziness.

He'll do no good.

He will do very bad! (N)

Basket Ball in Finland is a very small sport... The team that has Rodman, does not have enough cash to get him for the season... Only for one or two games at max. I think he's asking quite a lot.

It's basically a publicity stunt that will hopefully generate some intrest in basket ball in the Helsinki area.

Just yesterday, I was talking to a friend about going to see the game he plays in, but we got no further than that. I'll have to bring it up again, cause I kind of want to see him play, and see if he's still got it or not.

If they had the cash, they would probably take the one man freak show crowd magnet for the year, but they don't have the cash.

lol at that... yeah I just started working at the Circuit City in Newport Beach where Rodman lives... supposedly he is a regular customer there

plus, Bulls just signed Malik Allen... WHY???? why do you sign someone to sit on the IR for the whole year?

i think allen is serviceable as a backup- he has decent range for a big men, something the team's been looking for and he can finish around the basket.

plus factor in antonio davis can't be counted on for big minutes anymore. maybe if songalia signs with the bulls, antonio davis becomes expendable and could be dealt for a draft pick & scraps

Rodman should get atleast a tryout with some of these NBA teams cause as much as anyone wants to say about his negative off the court antics they cant deny that he is and will always be one of the greatest rebounders of all time.

One of the big problems the bulls had last year was Eddy Curry's rebounding. There is a chance they can one of the greatest rebounders to their roster and possibly teach Curry and others the wonders of rebounds. its possible that the old sayin is right in that u dont appreicate something until its gone and maybe thats the case for rodman.

i was laughing my head off when i heard he wanted to tryout, it would be funny to see him on the nba floor again

Personally, I don't think this is a good idea for him. (N)

He has a big heart for the game, but his body might not be as active as he used to be..

Given that his role is only rebounding and playing defence, I think he should be OK as long as he is fit and healthy. He can make something happen for the Bulls. I am not expecting him to go out and grab 15 rebounds per game, but if he can get 5-6 rebounds a game. He should strengthen the Bulls frontcourt.

the bulls bigger problems were inexperience and turnovers.. both signs of a young team. chandler was amongst the league leaders in rebounds in the 4th qtr and curry did sit out a lot of 4th qtrs anyway

i'm getting tired of this rodman talk already and how he could help the bulls. his last 2 comebacks turned into a sideshow/distraction. the guy is 44 and hasn't been playing against nba caliber talent for some time now.

put down the peace pipe already

and paxson doesn't bring in punks

that was a surprise...I dunno but all i cann say that he was a hardworking horse.but I dunno wether he can still sustain the banging defense.
