Sure is...he's a good defender and he can throw it down hard too!.

Pistons haven't made an sig. changes but addition of Davis & Evans adds depth. As does the subtraction of LB. I'm sure the bench is better than ppl think.

You mean Maurice Evans? Yeah, that was one of the most underrated aqusitions this offseason. He's a good player to come off your bench, especially if you're thin at those positions (SG/SF). Now, with Delfino and Darko having their breakout seasons, the Pistons will have a much better bench than in 2004/5. And even if they don't, an 9 men rotation with Antonio, Evans, Arroyo and Hunter coming off the bench, is still a good one for a contending team.

He is a nice acquisition for the Pistons, their depth is getting stronger..

While i'm on that page..
Utah signs Devin Brown to an offer sheet.

They got Finley to play the swingman spots and they already had Barry. So no. He's too old and doesn't have any potential left which would make him valuable for the Spurs longterm (when Bowen, Barry and Finley retire).

yes thats is absolutely right....San Antonio does not need 3 spot right now since they acquire mike..with bowen, barry and mike in the roster brown will be forced to the bench a lot..Well good acquisition from the jazz for me devin brown is talented player only needs playing time..

Sacramento had no choice but to let him go. Good acquisition for the Pistons. Certainly adds depth to their bench.

This thread is basically about 2 people . So

1- Mo Evans = good pick up for detroit , solid for them off the beench , but won't get Much minutes.

2- D. Brown = To me he is just the right replacement for Raja Bell , maybe might do even better.

Devin Brown is only 27, how is that "old"? He's a solid pickup for the Jazz, as is Maurice Evans for the Pistons as he is able to step in when Tayshaun Prince needs a rest.

Spurs' oldest players will propably hold for another three years. He'll be thirty year-old swingman then, not exactly someone you would want to be your future.

I agree that the Spurs don't need him now, but Michael Finley is 32, Brent Barry 33 and Bruce Bowen is 34 years old, so the Spurs might have use for Devin Brown in one or two years, when he is in his prime.

So letting him leave now doesn't hurt the Spurs now, but locking him up for cheap wouldn't be a bad thing to do at all. What are the terms of the offer sheet he got from the Jazz?

Ahh good pick up for the Pistons. This move disappoints me because I still held out some hope that they would get Spree. Oh well.

Flip will be using a 10 man rotation this year, I think losing Larry Brown and gaining the depth they did is somewhat of a wash. I still would put them ahead of Miami this season.

I like this signing. Hes a better overall player than Delfino and at 6-5 he can pull down 3-4 boards and score like 6 points every game, just what we need. Now all we have to do is trade Aroyyo, and Dupree for a solid bench guy and were awesome.

Mo Evans is a great player, I wanted the T-Wolves to sign him. Wolves cut him a few years ago. (N)

Pistons got a nice pick-up.

It was, and still is. But when you have (one of) the best starting lineups in the league, you can afford to have McDyess and Mau Evans as your top 2 guys coming off the wood.
