Spree-Melo combo....man teams are gonna have fun abusing these 2. Spree clearly lost 3 steps, Melo never plays D.

Better Spree than no Spree. He can still score though but it's gonna be interesting how he's gonna mesh with Martin & Melo.

That Minny Denver rivalry is shaping up real nice now....all we need is Minny to step up and get some players to help out KG....the man only has 2 elbows.

Wouldn't be a bad signing for Denver...Spree's 2004/2005 season may not have been his finest but he'd be a missing piece signing, not a future of the franchise acquisition. If he ends up with the Lakers, playing him at point is indeed a bad idea. The triangle can work without a natural point guard, but Spree doesn't have the right mentality to be an "unnatural" point guard in the triangle either.

I don't know if anyone remember how Spree came back last time everyone in the media and everyone else was bashing him *cough*finals*cough*

camby
martin
melo
spree
miller

wow that's a nice starting 5. could be the suprise of next season

Tue Aug 30, 2005 1:45 am

That'd definitely be one of the toughest teams, attitude wise. I wouldn't want to fight that team.

Tue Aug 30, 2005 2:05 am

Minnesota will win the division.

Tue Aug 30, 2005 2:33 am

pistons are the only team that can probably win in a fight cuz of ben wallace.

then again artest can take 3 peeople

Tue Aug 30, 2005 3:07 am

Tue Aug 30, 2005 3:11 am

Thanks for that amazingly insightful and well thought out contribution to an otherwise decent thread.

Denver vs. Detroit

Camby vs. B. Wallace (Camby would win only if Van Gundy was watching, but otherwise, advantage: Wallace)
Martin vs. Rasheed (I'd have to give that to Martin)
Spree vs. Saunders (Saunders wins by default)

Advantage: Detroit

Denver vs. Indiana

Camby vs. J. Foster (Camby)
Martin vs. J. O'Neal or whoever (Martin, although Indy would write a chapter explaining in depth how Jermaine will win)
Spree vs. Artest (Artest will destroy Spree then take on Martin and Camby)

Advantage: Indiana

But still, Denver's rather tough.

  that was nice. And they are all true.

Expect a lot of technicals from the Nuggets...

Damn. I was REALLY hoping he would go to Detroit. O well.

  "the easiest way to be 10 dollars richer than your neighbour, is to steal 5 dollars from him."

Saunders moved to SG or Spree moved to head coach???

No way. Martin is nothing more than a rebounding jumping Jack Flash. JO is more of a go-to guy... :!:

Really? Sheed is still better offensively than Martin, though he's not shooting as much, he's a slightly better defender as Martin is good himself, and Martin is a better rebounder because Sheed sucks on the boards. I don't know....

I think Cyanide's post on the matchups is more about fight matchups than game matchups.

Tue Aug 30, 2005 8:25 am

Yeah, shadowgrin got it right. I should've made that clear

Clarify, clarify...

Wed Aug 31, 2005 12:04 am

I thought that part was obvious when he started talking about K-Mart being better than Jermaine O'Neal.

No way is he better than him. Definately not offensively.

Wed Aug 31, 2005 12:31 am

You forgot about Nene and Elson too :!: They're pretty tough.

Wed Aug 31, 2005 2:20 am

Elson is a human foul machine man. :?

Wed Aug 31, 2005 2:58 am

Elson is gay.

Nene and Olowokandi hate each other...

Wed Aug 31, 2005 3:30 am

Yeah, most of the Timberwolves and Nuggets hate each other.
