Sweetney, Thomas and Ariza or 1st rounder for Pierce and Marcus Banks? I kno the knicks dont need a PG but he could be traded for a solid 2.

Well there have been rumours Marbury could be traded from the Knicks as well, I think the Knicks scenario could work....

Garnett's angry about Sam being traded, could he go as well?

Maybe Pierce/LaFrentz/Banks(or Jefferson)

for

Garnett/Olowokani/1st round pick?

Garnett for the whole Celtics team might be the fairest. Even that might not be enough cuz wolves wouldn't be guarenteed a Western Conference Finals win.

Well yea you saw him in the playoffs I think his effincey was top 3 Amare, Tmac then pierce. Maybe its a turning point. BTW Jeeferson is NOT leaving so anyone who thinks that there wrong. unless for KG because maybe KG doesnt want to play in MIN anymore. Banks to New York?? Thats pointless. Danny isnt going to deal him because hes the best defender in Boston. Theres so many rumors going on, If Pierce does get traded I hope its from a versitile SG or SF like Maggette, JRich, etc...

Hmmm, Maybe the Celtics are ligning up a trade with LA Lakers? The Lakers dont have much in the way of PG's (A McKie doesnt really count as a true starting PG) and the celtics have stacked that position... could something happen there?

Maybe. That would be good. Yea because the Lakers are interested in Banks again. Maybe a trade which will send Banks, Pierce, Dickau maybe???? and someother people for Kobe :) and someone else. As much as Im not a Kobe fan, I know hes better than Pierce and I would like him if he came to Boston for sure.

Kobe will stay with the Lakers as long as Phil is the Lakers coach. It is very unlikely that Kobe will go elsewhere. For Pierce, not sure about him, he can go to Toronto in exchange for Rose and a 1st round pick.

No, Celtics would never pull that rade off. Pierce is definetly worth more than that. If the Celtics do a trade this off-season, it will likely be involving a PG and a C (Bount or LaFreantz big-ass contract)

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but, there was a story early this summer that he will be traded to Portland? I'm sure it was just a rumor.

I think he'll stay.

btw. that Portland rumor also indicated that Pierce wouldn't want to play there anyway, even if traded.

how bout to chicago curry and noicini for pierce assuming that curry gets signed to a contract similar to dalemberts... 6yr/60mil it could work out pretty well assuming curry has his heart issues all worked out but it could be a long 6yrs for boston if something goes wrong so give him a guarateed 3yrs at about 25 mil and the last 3yrs a team option and worth about 35mil. that way boston reduces the risk if something goes terribly wrong while rewarding the profits if it works out... also the trade works in chicagos favor... while they would be giving away a up and coming talent like curry's, which is rare to find in the league, they would be receiving the true superstar they have missed since jordan and pierce is just entering his prime... he has another top notch 5,6 yrs left in him. i think that both teams should do this trade and work out the kinks
PPL r a little feisty these days:D

Why the hell wouldn't you want a super star player for like a sixth overall pick and some undersized bum who's contract was expiring anyway? It's not like Martell Webster is the Blazer's savior or anything. If that trade was true I would do that in a heart beat if I was the GM of Portland. Martell has potential, but it's not through the roof or extremely hyped up about, which is mainly why high schoolers are drafted.

I would like it to happen cause im talking in boston's perspective. That trade would be bad for the C's.

The basketball camp which I'm currently going to is run my the town high school coach who knows the C's head scout (and various other basketball personalities) and said the scout (not a rookie scout, one who scouts other teams) and the other staff were seriously interested in getting rid of Pierce. The only problem is who wants him, and if he was traded away for some up-and-comers and draft picks I'm sure that I, and every loyal Celtics fan would be furious. He produces; even if he whines.
