The Old Testament is considered obsolete by the Christian religion... It is only used for 'museum' purposes... Christioans do not follow the Old Testament, they now follow the scripts of the Apostles and the Evangelists...
As much reading as I do on the Christian theology and history, I actually didn't know that tidbit. I have read that the Old and New Testament are both intertwined and the New Testament was formed based on the Old Testament. The books of Job and Proverbs are stuff that shouldn't be overlooked, either, and are constantly used by Christians. Btw, there's a prophet named 'Habakkuk' in the Old Testament
