If anyobody cares: Kemp has a terrific fan site -
http://sk40.com. Worth of visiting.
And that reverse dunk of his Okafor50 mentioned is just plain sick. I agree that Shawn was better athletically than Amare is today or ever will be, but he has that aura around him which surrounds only the great ones.

I bought some DVD's with the NBA's best dunks/best 100 plays and some of the Kemp clips on those are awesome

He'll never be like that again, but everyone deserves another chance.

Or played with a talented pass-first PG like Nash instead one of the biggest ball hogs to play the game.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. If you don't think that Gary Payton in his prime could have done what Nash did this year...
Payton and Kemp were one of the best and most exciting duos in the league during their reign. Go watch an old NBA Jams video and you'll see what I mean. And don't call GP one of the biggest ball hogs of all time. That's not right, dude.
Be that as it may, it really says something that the Sonics had their best seasons when Kemp was the leading scorer on the team instead of Payton.

kemp over stoudemire any day of the week? not so sure after seeing amare destroy perennial all nba defender tim duncan in the playoffs/seeing kemp get blocked time after time by mutombo in the denver upset win over seattle
as maes said, stoudemire is still an unfinished product
lol a negative thing said about GP and glove comes out of the weeds. not a surprise
but robby coming out of the weeds.. definitely a surprise.

Shawn Kemp works out at Barker Reservoir at George Bush Park Nature Reserve in Houston. "I'm out here everyday and I hit this hill 10 times with 25-pound weights on each leg," Kemp said. He's trying to get back in shape to restart his basketball career.
He's lookin' good!

Kemp is very serious this time, he looks quite fit on that pic. Maybe Kemp still want to show that he still got game at age 35. Keep up the good work ReignMan!

I'm looking forward to see you in this season.

I like to see him back with the Sonics, he should retire there.

Kemp certainly deserves a good ending to his career. at 35 he can still play ball, and the fact that he can run is a good news. Last time i saw him play, he could barely get from one end of the court to the other... and yes, he looks very fit on the pic.

I assume that he wants alot of money.

He would be a good addition to any team he joins....Wish he'd come back to the Magic, but to see him in a Sonics uniform again would be awesome.

LEts also bring back some of the other top PFs from the 90s...
Larry Johnson, Derrick Coleman, Dennis Rodman....

No, he's not. If you took the time to read the article you'd realize that he's doing this for other reasons than money.
Kemp continues to swear this comeback has nothing to do with money. For proof, he offers to let teams pay him after the season's over, based entirely on performance. Or play in Europe, if necessary.

Larry Johnson - too busy because of the ladies.
Dennis Rodman - the NBA still has Ron Artest, Commish Stern wouldn't allow Rodman to come back. The No-Rodman clause is probably in the new CBA written in fine small print.
Derrick Coleman - Larry Brown will bring him back in New York, one way or the other. Mark my words.
