I think they would do alright considering they got Baron Davis for the whole season now. And Dunleavey has been getting used to the NBA game and I wouldnt be surprised if he is among the top 3 pts leaders in the league.

By the way this the wrong section to post NBA topics. There is a NBA Talk section to post these topics.
NBA Live 2003 is the best game ever made.

As T-Comm already pointed out, Live 06 isn't the place for this topic. We have a NBA Section to discuss the real NBA.

I'd also like to ask you to have a look at the rules and I would like to ask you again not to keep posting everything in Caps Lock. It's quite annoying.

Regarding the topic, you may want to ask your question in an ever growing Golden State Warriors thread.

Warriors Thread.

They're gonna break out this year...very talented squad. Possibly the most athletic perimeter lineup in the league...Davis/Richardson/Pietrus...their inside guys are above average support players and Murphy has some upside.

They played VERY well at the end of the year...major spankage of the Lakers when the Lakers were fighting for playoff berth (but to be honest, beating up the Lakers doesn't mean as much anymore).

There gonna be over the 500 Mark. Last year, When they acquired B-Diddy, they kept on winning so they'll be a good team this year.

don't get too excited though. Injuries could hurt and they could possibly be cursed like the clippers :(

I reckon Warriors probably get the 8th spot, they have improved their chances of winning with the addition of Davis from last season. As long as there are no injuries, Davis, Richardson, Dunleavy, Fisher, and Murphy should lead the Warriors to the playoffs.

Except they have stiff, stiff competition, so I can't say they're guaranteed the playoffs. Of course, DWeaver will walk in with his custom-made Golden State Warriors lawyer suit and try to prove me wrong

I think if they trade Dunleavy for a center they would be a lock for the 8th spot.

Hmmm, its gonna be about 2 issues:

Chemestry: Can they play as a team or will they play for stats?

Injuries: Theres a reason New Orleans got nothing in return for Davis.

Suit as in the wearing apparatus...? Hmmm, good idea, I'm going to have my tailor sew me a 3 piece suit in orange, with the warriors' logo on it. Plus a fish tie, to go along.

BTW, please direct any GSW talk to the "Official GS WARRIORS' fans thread" in NBA Talk. Thank you. :D

Expectations are higher than last season for sure. With Baron Davis for the whole season (if possible), and Richardson on the backcourt. What I read is BD is the most physical PG out there. Pietrus is a good 3 point shooter and Dunleavy needs to step up his game. Foyle needs to do better and prove himself that he's worthy enough fo that contract he's got, if i were him and i got a big contract like his and wasn't performing to my full potential and i knew about it and so others, i would be pissed and would work harder on the offseason to show everybody he's a good player.
