how do you make GIFs

Mon Jul 18, 2005 3:11 am

not sure where to put it so i will put it here.
how do you create GIF images/videos where it is like an animation or small video clip???

Mon Jul 18, 2005 3:28 am

You need a GIF animation program. Like Ulead GIF Animator, for one. I think there might be better programs out there right now, but I haven't been on the GIF animation scene for a number of years now.

most people use imageready.. it's not fantastic, but being able to maintain layer schemes and such from editing in photoshop makes it useful enough not to consider any other program even if the tweening is pretty much limited to translation (which is ffs gay)

Perhaps add some brush strokes to the background, opposed to the simple black background.

Was that really necessary. First of all, no one would even be able to decipher what "Ulead" means. Second of all, someone has already mentioned that. Third of all, he has already accomplished what he wanted to accomplish, so I doubt he needs advice on what program to use.

Ok man seriously, what's your problem? Like have I ever done shit to you. You're being ass to me for no reason. You make fun of my graphic work. If you don't have any good comments then don't post em to me cuz I sure as hell don't give a shit. Like wtf is ur probleM? I haven't done anything to youand you choose to fuck me over. Just trying to help the guy I didn't know it was the same guy since on the first post he didn't have a sig but in his post where he said he made his 1st one, he does have a sig so I didn't know. But seriously, are you capable of socializing with people? Are you good at meeting new people?

do you know how to check a friggin username? seriously, shut the fuck up, we dont need those sorts of comments either

Thu Jul 21, 2005 12:35 am

Hehe, now that post wasn't really needed either, was it Koberulz? Well, the shut the fuck up part atleast.

Pacaveli, I suppose all Fender was trying to say was that you could've enlightened him a bit more about what Ulead actually is instead of just posting that word. Secondly he might've just meant that you should've read the thread & seen that he's moved past the issue of which program to use. Although it came out a bit demeaning, I'm sure he didn't mean it in a bad way.
Anyways, I'm sure he doesn't sit down & deliberately pick on you. Don't let something so trivial effect you, just move on. Perhaps you can give some detail to this guy about how easy it is to use ULead. Oh, in the future, do try to read all the posts. Cools.

Fender, be the bigger guy & let it be.

Anyways, back on topic...

I haven't used Ulead, I have ImageReady but I can't say I know much about it. I used to use Animation Shop 3 alot, that was pretty easy.

Anyways, if you're interested in learning about Imageready, search for tutorials or check out goodtutorials.com & pixel2life. They have an arsenal of good tuts. Best o'luck.

Now that hurt.

No seriously, I usually ignore (some) people fighting given it's none of my business but I think that's what moderators are supposed to do, normally I would've let them fight it out.
