Interesting. I read his list of top PG's, too. Charley always says weird stuff, (Ralph Beard?), but at least he thinks for himself.

More like an uncontested tip-off...

Yes, Rosen always seems to go the extra mile to say something different... but ever since I read one of his articles practically burying Karl Malone, I think he is just a bucketload of BS on print. (N)

This guy seems like the historical equivalent of Skip Bayless -- going against the grain so he can go against the grain. His top point guard list was attrocious. I don't fucking care who Ralph Beard is. If he's so great, why have I never heard of him? Where's Gary Payton, the only point guard to dominate on both ends of the floor, and Nate "Tiny" Archibald, the only player to to lead the league in assists and scoring in the same season? They can't even make the "Other Candidates" list?

Bill Sharman at number two for shooting guards? What the fuck is this guy on? I respect his knowledge for history but apart from the absolute obvious(Jordan at #1), I don't agree with him on one single thing.

Bernard King would have destroyed most of that list.

Can't believe he didn't include Chris Mullin or Mitch Richmond or Ray Allen.

The greatest player ever to play the game of course is going to be number one! That guy is MJ!
"For Jordan, score two points and a KO."

I have not see players like him taking so many game winning shot, fortunately, they all went in! Who could it be? The one and only Michael Jordan!

True, I found it to be a weird ass list. Oscar Robertson should have been second, I think he was a Shooting Guard..

I think Oscar was a point guard. Jeffx or someone who's seen him play would know, but from what I've read he was a PG.

Oscar was th eball handler in his teams, he was a PG.

He was alright until he got to number two. Then it all went south. I would have ranked Drexler and Gervin higher, Kobe lower (for the meantime).
