Hey guys, I got this HP notebook...
The fan spins during startup, but after startup it doesnt spin at all...
Is that normal?

Sounds like the fan is trying to escape. You should call them and say "the fan is taking over" and they'll know what you mean

Call HP techincal service, and ask them.
And, next time you buy a laptop, do some research, because as frank as this would sound, I wouldn't buy an HP.

The fan on notebooks dosent run alot. My sister has a Dell Laptop and the fan spins at startup, shut down, and usually when the laptop is not in use. I think its normal, but a little reserch wont kill.

I think you should ask mac if the fan on his dildo goes on during startup and shutdown...

to hell with the fans!!!!!!! i work in an 15 degrees environment so its cool here already
no seriously. fans of the laptops are supposed to be spinning by the time it is on.... maybe you applied G-Force on your unit, like drop it a few times or press on it perhaps? if not well i have no clue to what is it the prob there.....next time get em IBM's....stay away from Helwett
