Pretty amazing stuff
http://earth.google.com/
I can literally see my own house
Edit: Japan is incredible. Zoom into Tokyo and you'll see structured high-tech buildings everywhere, then zoom out, and you'll see them all over that part of Japan. My god, no wonder they're an economic world power.
And then I went to New York City

and man, that place literally looks dirty compared to Japan. If I'm not mistaken, is that the empty lot that used to be the twin towers?

Man, I walked in my school into the English department today, and saw this in one of the computers!!
I thought it was a joke, but it turned out to be true! Pretty amazing stuff, huh?

They have every single place in the world, but depending on the city, you might be able to zoom in far enough to see your house. I did find Kensington, England through the program, but not Kensington in Australia or Huncote in England.
I had to look up Kensington, Australia, through a net search to find it in Google Earth, and it's only good for 20 000 feet before it gets too blurry. I'm not sure where Huncote, England is.
I'm not much help

Awesome. Google is God.
I found my house (even though it pointed me to the house 3 down from me. I could tell because I could see my car in the freaking driveway!!!
I'm gonna spend so much time just looking up random places now.

Well, if you consider how much you can
zoom out then it's pretty freaking impressive. Screenshots don't do justice, compared to the actual program. It's really fun just scrolling the mouse wheel to see the view of the entire earth then zoom all the way in to see your house.

that's a shame, the closest cities (which you would be able to see) are Adelaide (Australia) and Leicester (England) but I doubt you'd get my houses

stop complaining...all I see are trees when I looked up the Philippines. Stupid Google prioritizing other countries.

Just because we're a third world country
