The Big NBA Dream!!!!

Fri Jul 08, 2005 4:26 pm

Me and some of my friends had a conversation today about what would be (one) of the best marketable games every and highest rated and I thought wouldn't Lakers vs. Heat in the NBA finals be great. I mean Kobe vs Shaq, Shaq vs. Phil, Wade vs Kobe, City vs City. It would be star-studded.

Fri Jul 08, 2005 4:28 pm

hmmm, it'd be one of the most watched for sure, but it aint gonna happen :P

thats like next years NBA Finals being between Atlanta and New Orleans! ;)

Another "What if?" thread lol...

Can't say it won't happen, hard to say.. but for now sit on it lol..

Well.. you never know.... the NBA conspiracy might just make that happen, seeing as how the ratings are so low this year.

Fri Jul 08, 2005 5:49 pm

if the nba conspiracy was gonna do anything they wouldve given la andrew bogut.

but, with phil as the coach anything could happen

Conspiracy Scenario: Andrew Bogut refuses to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks, and becomes a Free Agent, he ends up signing with the Los Angelos Lakers for the minimum 2 days before opening night.

2006 NBA Finals - Los Angeles Lakers VS Miami Heat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fri Jul 08, 2005 6:17 pm

I like that! but I can't wait for the Pacers and Detroit rematch in the East Conference.

Fri Jul 08, 2005 8:37 pm

Yawn. We all know how next year is going down.

SA vs. DET, Spurs win it 4-3 once more. End of story.

SA definitely, Detroit if they can cope being without Larry Brown. But if he stays, SA vs. DET 4-3 once more

Fri Jul 08, 2005 9:16 pm

Miami is going to be in the Finals. This year Wade went down, don't expect it to happen again. God isn't that giving.

Wish I could say LA will be in the Finals, but they've got a few years to go.

Fri Jul 08, 2005 9:20 pm

Spurs-Miami, Spurs win 4-3

Fri Jul 08, 2005 9:22 pm

Now that's a better prediction.

Agreed, i somehow forgot about every other NBA team except for Pistons and Spurs   :? :? :?

NBA 2006 Finals : San Antonio Spurs - Indiana Pacers
Spurs win 4-1 (maybe 4-2)

Sat Jul 09, 2005 1:56 am

Miami-Spurs, Miami wins 4-3

Why couldn't Denver players just stick their foot out whenever Duncan jumps and make Tim Duncan get re-injured? Bruce Bowen does that all the time. Why did they not take advantage of the fact that he could get injured? Seriously, it was the one time Duncan could've been injured in the playoffs and they blew it. I would have everyone just hit Duncan's ankle, accidentally kick it every once in a while, have someone dive for the ankle from an accidental trip, and if there was no hope, have some bench member just rip off his feet.

Oh well.

Well I bet David Stern wants Miami vs LA finals. The ratings would sky rocket...

If that was a joke, it's lame. If that is your sincere cinviction, then you are sick. Snap out of it.
