Game 5– Eastern Conference Finals: Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks (Pistons lead series 3-1)

Joke’s over for the Knicks, as Detroit got serious after a lacklustre game 4 showing, and came out on th ecourt to prove the better side and win it easily. The Wallaces were now focused and keen on shutting down Odom and Magloire, which they accomplished, and Chauncey Billups was constantly dishing the ball to the open Rip Hamilton, who was merciless in putting th erock in the hoop, finishing the game with 37 points and 5 rebounds, for his best performance in the 06 playoffs thus far. Odom had only 9 points on 2/11 shooting, and only Tim Thomas with 22 points seem to be believing in a turnaround.

Result: Detroit defeats New York easily, 106 – 94, wins the Eastern Conference title with 4-1, and will go onto the NBA Finals to get their second title in 3 years.

I'm not sure about this one...I think Pistons are going to beat Kings but again Sacramento beat Mavs and Houston....This is going to game seven, the only problem is I don't know who is winning game seven........I'll decide later

Okay, I'll post the predictions' standings as well as the Finals' results (and maybe some small recaps with pics... maybe...) in about 12 hours if I find the time, as I've been swamped lately...

After the next update, this dunasty will take a back seat in favor of the new BRONZE one... but don't worry, it won't be for long... maybe it'll give you all teh chance to show some much-needed love to my GOLD dynasty... :lol:

The Pistons won the NBA title after a straining 7 game series against the surprise of the year, the Kings. Detroit win their second championship in 3 years, after finishing 1st in the east and knocking out our beloved Knicks.
