lol, so we can assume that next year's champ is Spurs...again?

Big Shot Rob staying put. Good to see some more loyalty!

Nah, next year is gonna be the Bobcat's year....................................

Wed Jul 06, 2005 11:23 pm

good to hear (Y)

looks like it's gonna be the same team next year

Wed Jul 06, 2005 11:50 pm

No...their is still hope for the Kings...I won't give up :!:

Thu Jul 07, 2005 12:01 am

 Yup. Robert Horry is the key. You can't win a title without Robert Horry. Every other team should just give up now. There is no hope for anyone. Robert Horry >>> Michael Jordan.

Thu Jul 07, 2005 12:30 am

Robert Horry + Steve Kerr = 11/12 last NBA championships.

Face it. the Pacers' only have a slim 8.33 % chance of actually having a chance to win the title next year. Unless you bring back Kerr from retirement...

Thu Jul 07, 2005 12:41 am

Spurs just won another title right there :|

To be serious for a second, I think the chances are like this

San Antonio 30 %
Miami 20 %
Detroit 15 %
Indiana 20 %
Suns 10 %
Anybody else 5 %

Thu Jul 07, 2005 3:32 am

San Antonio 30%
Miami 20%
Detroit 20%
Indiana 19%
Phoenix 15%
Bucks 100%

Thu Jul 07, 2005 3:49 am

Bobcats 1000% chance of winning

Why would the Pacers just have that much of a chance not knowing what other teams will do in free agency. With the moves the Suns made so far, they have a far better chance than the Pacers. I guess I can say:

Spurs 30%
Heat 20%
Suns 20%
Detroit 10%
Grizzlies 19.99999%
Anybody else 0.111111

Did I heard this, next year is Bobcats. HaHa, I wish man. Bobcats VS Spurs in the finals. Lets hope Okafor can make some serious block on Tim Duncan :P

Thu Jul 07, 2005 11:01 am

There's still the trade deadline...

What would happen if Horry & Kerr faced off in the Finals???? Matter-antimatter explosion destroying the universe?

Oh good. Robert Horry is resigning. I thought he was re-signing, but you are a Spurs fan, so I'm sure you know more then me.

Its about time he resigned, he's getting up there in age.

I will post my completely unbiased opinion of who will win next year.

Miami - 3% (they need a big man)
San Antonio - 5% (they also lack a big man, as well as a clutch shooter)
Suns - 3% (they need an MVP caliber guard and an athletic big man)
Detroit - 2% (they don't play team basketball)
Memphis - 1% (they don't have any young talent)
Indiana - 0.2% (they don't have a defensive stopper or a decent big man)
Anybody Else - 85.8%

Thu Jul 07, 2005 12:25 pm

San Antonio 35%
Miami 20%
Detroit 15%
Indiana 10%
Phoenix 20%
Other 0%

Thu Jul 07, 2005 12:56 pm

you are all wrong. the celtics are clearly going to win it all this year. they are going to start with a first round sweep of indy, a sweep where each game is won by atleast 20. after that the game will be closer but hell we are talking the celtics here, no sweat

Thu Jul 07, 2005 1:03 pm

Pff, watch LA take home the trophy.

Shit, that was so unconvincing I laughed at myself. :(

Thu Jul 07, 2005 1:26 pm

lol, the thing is, in true boston nature, i am happy at the end of every season except the ones the lakers win it. if the celts cant win it but the lakers dont i am a happy man. this is the same song and dance with the sox and yanks.
