No more Next-Gen on EA's Live 06 homepage......

Postby NBAFAN2005 on Fri Jul 01, 2005 1:51 pm

I went to EA Sports today and looked under NBA Live '06. I was suprised to see that there is no more "Next Generation" under the platforms
anymore. Does anyone know why, or have reason to speculate as to why they don't have it?

Check it http://www.easports.com/games/nbalive06/home.jsp

*Right now its not up, so if u check it and its up it may have just been a temporary thing*

Don't worry, I think they will still release a Next Gen version of Live. Just because its not on the menu anymore doesn't mean they won't release that version.

I believe it was just a limited time sneak peek. The next-gen commercial has been moved to the rookies content.

Why sell product #2, when you still have to sell product #1. Business made simple.

After Live for the X Box, PC, PS2 come out, then EA will start hyping up the next generation version.

If you're correcting my spelling, you're incorrect. "Peek" means a brief look, "peak" refers to a pointed extremity, a tapering projected point, or the point of greatest development.

It's not the basketball that the 'next-generation' refers to, it's the 'next-generation' consoles.
