Now about the second Q and A, you'd have to consider the benefits and disadvantages of taking the "chance of a lifetime". If your benefits outweigh the others then I'd deffinately do it. when a guy ask you if he can date your friend(a girl) does that mean your friend(the girl) already told everyone else around that the 2 of you are together or dating? because why would the guy ask for your permission at the first place?

Well the whole assumption thing comes into play. When you go somewhere and you see a man and a woman in the same age range generally you assume that they are a couple or dating or whatever..so it doesn't necessarily mean that she told people you're dating..
