What about Eddie Griffin? I hope the Timberwolves resign him, and he has said he loves it here, but if you offer him a starting spot and the same amount of money (Full MLE) I think you guys could get him. He is a young, athletic power forward who played some center for us this season. He has great range and can hit the three ball (sometimes shoots the 3 ball too much, but once McHale took over he went inside more), great shot blocker, and a good rebounder who has the potential to be a great player some day. Last year there were questions about his work ethic and his problem with the booze but this season there no problems with him.

Of course, I hope the Wolves can resign him but if they can't I would think Washington would be taking a close look at him. I think he has the potential to be an all-star in this league, all he needs is to learn some post moves and get some more arc on his shot. He also needs to work on his one-on-one defense but he has the tools to be a great defender. (Y)

I like Eddie Griffin too but without the off-court problems

KG saved his career by helping him, if he went here, he might revert to his old ways. He'd be a great pick-up though.
