Detroit down by 2 entering 4th.....this is crunch time, let's hope Detroit don't collapse AGAIN in the 4th in this series. They've had too many poor 2nd halves.

nice bock by haslem at the end of the 3rd

Tue Jun 07, 2005 12:30 pm

damn, how many offensive fouls have been in this game.....more than the average game

Tue Jun 07, 2005 12:53 pm

looks like Pistons are gonna take this series and move on....what a shame :(

Tue Jun 07, 2005 12:54 pm

I too was hoping for a Heat victory (I know, the jinx), but it's going to take a miracle.

Tue Jun 07, 2005 12:56 pm

PISTONS BACK INTO THE FINALS!!!!!!!!

BILLUPS OWNS!!!! HAMILTON ONCE AGAIN MVP OF THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE PISTONS. NICE OF RASHEED TO SHOW UP

back to normal now, i had my doubts about this game, especially when Hunter was missing shots and Campbell taking jumpers.

Tue Jun 07, 2005 12:57 pm

ok its offical pistons win

Tue Jun 07, 2005 12:57 pm

Just as I predicted. Pistons in Game 7 and now all that Heat talk can settle until next season. Looks like Shaq can't win another ring once again. :)

I love it when a team lose where there are alot of bandwagoners. For the true Heat fans, it was a good matchup and they gave a good fight. For the fake Heat fans, LMAO the Pistons are going to party

That's a damn close game. Kudos to the Pistons for gutting it out, and kudos to Miami, who gave a great effort.

Tue Jun 07, 2005 12:58 pm

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to the Pistons, though I'm really not looking forward to a Spurs/Pistons Finals. I've got a feeling it's going to go past superb defense to the point of ugly.

Fine season for the Heat too. They were just five wins shy of living up to the hype stirred up by Shaq's arrival this past offseason.

FUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKkkkkkkkkkkkkk

We'll get em next year...

I don't really think it was about the Heat moving on, it was more about people wanting the Pistons not to move on....

I was happy when Pistons whipped the Lakers last season....but this year, I would have preferred to see the Pacers or Heat advance to the final round....I guess I'm hoping Manu can get it done for the Spurs....should be a good series though....

Tue Jun 07, 2005 1:06 pm

congratulations pistons back to back eastern champion!!!!!!!!!!

Tue Jun 07, 2005 1:08 pm

Agreed. Any dislike for the Pistons or Spurs and the potential Shaq subplot aside, I think a lot of people were hoping for Miami to make the Finals and win it all simply because it would be somebody different. When your favourite team is no longer in the running, most people generally hope for the most interesting/appealing scenario. The Heat seemed to fit that scenario this year for a lot of people, myself included.

I was lulled into a false sense of security after my predictions in the first couple of rounds were mostly spot-on. Should have known the jinx would return for the Finals. Last year I picked the Lakers to win, before the season began and again when we made predictions for the Finals.

Tue Jun 07, 2005 1:19 pm

fuck the nba.. GO LOCKOUT!!

Tue Jun 07, 2005 1:20 pm

all we need now is Shaq to come out talking his usual shit.

Tue Jun 07, 2005 1:21 pm

in all fairness, if wade wasnt injured, detroit wouldnt have advanced. PERIOD
