Marvin Williams has a huge chance of going No. 1 and when all is said and done, he probably could....

however, whoever doesn't go at No. 1 will go at No. 2 and then possibly traded....but we'll see....

Hawks select Marvin Williams....

NBADraft.net wrote:NBADraft.net received word late Thursday that Atlanta will likely use their (recently won in lottery) second pick in the draft on Marvin Williams and not Chris Paul as first thought. Though the team already has Josh Smith and Josh Childress, and has more of a need for PG, the team feels Williams is by far the best prospect available.

since everyone's got Hawks taking Marvin Williams let's move on to the Blazers....

Pope Riot reckons Blazers will use the pick on Gerald Green....that's one school of thought....the other school of thought is that the Blazers will use the No. 3 pick on the best player available and trade it away....

therefore, my vote goes to the Portland Trailblazers selecting Chris Paul....

i read that article awhile ago to but it doesnt seem right you know. they already got smith and childress. and if smith and williams start they will have no shooters on that team and that is what they need.

well i guess this is over too.

ATLANTA HAWKS WILL SELECT ...

MARVIN WILLIAMS OF UNC

^^^ (post above your last post) ^^^ although I agree that Paul would be a better fit to their team, Williams is too talented to slide past the No. 2 spot, and that's why we've got the Hawks taking him, if the Bucks don't with the No. 1 pick....

I hear Josh Smith wants Hawks to select Bogut with the No. 2 pick if he's available....he probably doesn't want the competition at the forward spots, and probably realises it's in the team's best interest to pick a big man....

now on to Blazers, seems to be 2-1 between Green and Paul....I got a feeling Green will win this vote out, but I'm hoping Paul does....

so I'm still with Paul, and they will trade the pick after that....

I'd have to say Bogut to Milwaukee, Marvin to Atlanta and Chris Paul to Portland and then try to do a sign and trade or maybe get rid of all their pgs once and for all and start off fresh with Chris.
