It seems that Suns is not good enough to be a champion.

That's pretty much it yeah, if you're interested, get the song Una Palabra by Carlos Valera. That's one hell of a song.

One week of rest for TD's ankle before facing a 7 game series winner... Thinks are looking good for the Silver and Black... (Y)

Mon Jun 06, 2005 12:32 pm

LMAO hey DW your sig has a missing " / " at the end image tag

Mon Jun 06, 2005 4:54 pm

Fixed... (Y)

Tue Jun 07, 2005 6:09 pm

That's it... Now it's champion vs champion... This should be a gridiron battle (Y)

Tue Jun 07, 2005 6:26 pm

my apprentice seems to be overly satisfied for the upcoming finals...yes the dark side has truly filled his post...

on a more serious note..... i like this physical finale of both defensive minded teams (Y)

Wed Jun 08, 2005 9:20 am

The Finals are going to be TEH bore...not really, I really like the style of both teams. And you can't be boring with Ginobili in your team.
I'm still rooting for San Anotonio (Y)

Fri Jun 10, 2005 6:45 pm

Ha, that was ine UGLY Game 1... but Manu really stepped it up when it mattered the most... a superstar in the making??? (Y)

Fri Jun 10, 2005 6:53 pm

yeah my bet is on the spurs so help me GOD.

anyways i will be gone for a long time my apprentice..... i expect you to have things in order till i return....may the dark side be with you 8-)

Fri Jun 10, 2005 8:02 pm

it seems like the former NBA champion was much better..

Fri Jun 10, 2005 8:42 pm

thank's for ruining the outcome of game one for me before I had a chance to see the game.. BG BG BG BG BG

Fri Jun 10, 2005 11:01 pm

and someone got annoyed when I changed the Spurs-Nuggets thread to Manu leading Nuggets 3-1 or whatever....

when I saw Manu rip it up at the Olympics, you could just tell that he was a superstar type player....throw all your idiots like Kobe, Vince, T-Mac etc out the window....I'll take a South American over any over those guys on my team if I was picking (Y)

Sat Jun 11, 2005 10:06 am

I'd pick Timmy D :P But second would be AI. Then Manu

Sat Jun 11, 2005 10:30 am

let me reserve that comment drex....what I meant was I would take Manu over any of those aforementioned so-called superstars....I would still take Duncan before Manu....just like I'd take Shaq, Wade, etc before Manu....he's a great 2nd fiddle player....

Sat Jun 11, 2005 10:36 am

Couldn't have said it better myself, X. Manu has that hustle and never give up mentality that T-Mac and Vince lack. Also, Manu's a great team player and does a lot of intangible things that Kobe doesn't always contribute to.

Sat Jun 11, 2005 10:41 am

I know what you meant, X. He has the metality that he doesn't need the ball all the time in his hands, he hustles, he's not afraid of hurting himself trying to get a loose ball, etc... (Y)

Sat Jun 11, 2005 10:49 am

Still, though, as much as I love Manu ( I even met him up close during last summer's Olympics... man, talk about tall and thin, the guy's thinner than me...), Kobe, T-Mac and Vince are still better overall players.

I agree that none of them could play second fiddle, but, on the other hand, I doubt Manu would fare any better than them playing the leading role..

Sat Jun 11, 2005 11:09 am

he did alright playing leading role for Argentinians

those 3 guys might be better overall, but for me personally, I would prefer to have a guy like Manu as star....whilst I don't think he could be the No. 1 guy, I think if he had another star player on the team, he could be a good No. 1= guy, but not carry a team of nobodies....

he might be thin, but no doubt dogged and strong....congrats to Argentina for beating Brazil :D

Sat Jun 11, 2005 5:28 pm

congrats to Argentina for beating Brazil

Sometimes, being so caught up in the NBA, I tend to forget that soccer really rules most of the World outside the US... Sorry X,I'm a Brazil fan... (Y)

i jumped on the spurs FANwagon in 2000 because i was a Chicago Bulls fan and then i was playing Nba Jam Tournament Edition on SNES (yeah i was playing that) and i saw San Antonio, ther line up was Sean Elliott, Dennis Rodman (wit his silver hair) and David Robinson, i liked Rodman's hair so i jumped on the Spurs Bandwagon

then being isolated from nba.com for like my life till 2003 wen the spurs Won the championship, and i had NBA Live 2001, and i liked Tim Duncan, now he's my favourite player :D :D :D

that's how i joined the FANwagon

anyways on topic, GO SPURS, 3rd title

Sun Jun 12, 2005 4:32 am

According to DWeaver, you have to be on the Spurs bandwagon for 10 years before becoming you're upgraded to fan status ;)

True,true... you can only be a fan of one team, and bandwagon as many as you wish... after 10 years, we hand out an official FAN certificate and you can actually support two teams at once...

Sun Jun 12, 2005 10:59 am

FINE bandwagon, only another 5 years to go
