I'm going with Payton and Kemp because 1) I'm a homer and 2) they had better chemistry. If I recall correctly, Penny and Shaq never had a good relationship -- close to the equivalent of Shaq and Kobe. Plus, Payton's alley-oops to Kemp were just sick. The one's from half-court still make me drool.

(better sixth man) Vinnie Johnson or Toni Kukoc?

Props to Vinnie, but I sincerely believe that Kukoc was a better sixth man. He had the tools (shot, ballhandling, size) to replace any of the five starters on any given moment. And he was succesfull at the job. But...:

this is a no brainer here. detlef is far superior to kukoc in every way.

I would take Duncan because he is such an excellent all around player. Plus he has more of an array of post moves he can execute better then anyone else in the league.

(Yeah, it's a dick-move and you can't really be expected to read every post but I always wanted to do that )

Sauru, I would take the Iceman. This is probably against the majority here because of how flashy Dr J was, so people automatically think him, but heres why Id take George.

First and foremost, his career average, which is around 26 or 27, fantastic career average.

Plus, only Wilt, and MJ have won more scoring titles. Thats quite a crowd to be in.

He made so many incredibly tough shots too, I think hes a top 15 player ever.

Willis Reed.

You could argue that Ewing was a better overall player than Reed - He was a more creative scorer, and definatly more athletic, but he never won a championship, and that is the most important stat for a historic player in my opinion.

His heroics in the first few minutes of Game 7 of the 1970 NBA Finals still stands as the greatest final-moment to me.

Abdul-Jabbar or George Mikan? Both primes, and both compared to the other players of their era.

Mikan. Jabbar has that longitude, but was never as overly dominant as Mikan definitely was.

From what we heard.. Sabonis did fake out and dunked on david robinson in the olympics pre-NBA.. He actually used to be athletic too? And man, when i was watching Sabonis end of his career, he knew how to work the offence(passing and getting guys involved).. Seems to me Sabonis might be a 28points/12boards/3blocks/5assists player.. Toni is great, he has that passing game too.. but Ya Sabonis by a mile.

i'm not exactly sure what you're referring to... but if you are saying who has the better ability to blow by their defender... i'd go with "i got skillz" hardaway

i think wade's more explosive in terms of finishing at the rim. hardaway's crossover was devastating and when he got his knuckle ball jumpshot going, he was almost unguardable
