Chris Webber had foul trouble from the beginning and played for just 17 minutes.
Bibby led the Kings with 23 points, Hughes led the Wizards with 28. Arenas just
missed out on a triple-double with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists.

Hughes Passes, Arenas Scores

This one turned out to be a one man show: Gilbert Arenas scored 18 points in
the first quarter and 48 through-out the game. Arenas had 7 assists and 4 steals
aswell. Hughes had a bad shooting day, but that didn't stop him from helping
the team. He dished out 16 assists as the Wizards had 20 more assist in the
game compared to the Cavs. McInnis Was the only Cav who managed to score
over 15 points, he had 34.

Wizards Beat Celtics, Win Division
Boston 104 - Washington 109
The game was tight all the way. The teams were tied at 102 with 1.25 to go, but
reserve Laron Profit scored 4 of Wizards' last 7 points, as Larry Hughes ensured
the victory with his only made 3-pointer just 30 seconds before the end. Bostons'
Davis, Pierce and Payton scored over 20 points and had 4 or more assists.
Dwight Howard led the Wizards with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Rookie Of The Year Matchup
Washington 105 - Charlotte 91
On this game's performance Dwight Howard would be the Rookie of the Year with
no questions asked. He put up 34 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks as fellow
rookie Okafor had a decent double-double: 10 and 10. Larry Hughes had a
triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. The best Bobcat was
Kapono with 27 points, shooting 7/11 from downtown.

These teams met for the second time in a week, but much didn't change. The teams
had more of a all around game, but the Wizards still managed to get the best of it.
Larry Hughes was voted the Player of the Game with 18 points, 5 boards, 8 assists
and 6 steals.

Hughes Continues Strong Game, Wiz Win
LA Clippers 86 - Washington 106
Both of the teams stared with poor shooting, but the Wizards pulled away in the
second quarter as they shot .667 percent from the field. The Clippers didn't have an
assist through the first half. The Wizards shot 7/11 from behind the arc. Jaric
tried to pull the Clips back as he scored 14 of his 16 in the last 10 minutes, but it
wasn't enough. Hughes' 27 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals were too
much for LA.

Warriors Fall To Wizards
Washington 92 - Golden State 83
The Washington Wizards were once again too strong for the opposite team. They
out-rebounded Golden State 52-36. Jamison shot 3/4 from outside, Arenas dropped
24 points, dished 6 assists and Hughes play at the same level as previous games.
All that was too much for the Warriors, their best performance was by Speedy
Claxton who had 21 points, 5 boards, 5 steals.

Wizards Keep Magic Out Of Touch

This late season matchup was a two man battle. Grant Hill and Antawn Jamison
went at each other all night long. Jamison, who fouled out with 8 minutes remaining,
had 27 points (10/15 FG), 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Grant Hill answered
with 29 points (13/20 FG), 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Francis had foul trouble
from early on, he couldn't support his team enough.

Washington played great defense and allowed the Kings to score only 16 points in
the first and 17 in the third period. The Wizards' offense was concentrated on Jamison,
who was 18/33 from the field and grabbed 10 rebounds (6 of them at offense),
had 44 points. The best King was Mike Bibby with 20 points.

Wizards Finish Season With
15 Game Winning Streak
Denver 119 - Washington 127
The last game of the season terrified the Wizards' fans, as Arenas injured his right
knee 8 minutes before the end of the regular season. Washington's playoff
success was under a question-mark. Larry Hughes and Antawn Jamison took
care of the victory, combining 65 points, Voshon Lenard led the Nuggets with 28.
Later at the press conference Eddie Jordan announced that Arenas luckily suffered
only a minor injury and will be fully capable of playing in the playoffs. "I think
the Dear Lord was on upon us today. If we had lost Gilbert, we could have only
dreamed about the second round," said Jordan, referring to the first round matchup
against the Toronto Raptors.

Arenas' injury in the last game scared a lot of people, but everything seems to
be OK, so expect good performancein the playoffs from the Washington Wizards.
