I think Phoenix may be screwed here...JJ is huge loss. Marion usually guards a big man, and Johnson is their only perimeter defender. Not to mention 2nd best 3 shooter in the L and doing crazy minutes.

That paper thin bench is really starting to show now.

I read that orbital bone fractures are 2 week+ injuries.

goddamn, i'm surprised no one has talked about that sickass shit about JJ. when he got up and shot those free throws, i was thinknig "FUCK IS THIS GUY A FUCKING WARRIOR"

his left eye is fuggin disugsting! it looked pretty damn messed up. im wondering, is that the thing that fell out/broke and requires surgery? or was it something you can't really see?

SHIT FLIPS!!! HOW THE HELL DID HE STILL MAKE A FREE THROW WITH ALL THAT PAIN AND WHAT LOOKED LIKE THAT DIRTY SHIT WAS COVERING SOME OF HIS VISION!? JJ has earned my shittin' respect. FAWK!

I was very surprised how the Mav won game 2. I thought the Suns would've been able to swept the series oh well maybe they'll go 4-1 on this one :)

LMFAO, that was hilarious  I guess some players are so used to shoot FT's that they probably can make them with their eyes closed...and yes, he had surgery on his orbital bone.

lol, it was swollen man, it's not like something fell out or he can't see since he still has that other eye. He broke (or fractured) his orbital bone, and yeah, he probably went through surgery right now. Patrick Ewing probably has your respect too, since he took free throws after breaking his wrist

Suns win 119-102

Dallas went 1-18 from 3point range
if they made 5 more it woulda been a close game.. kind of make it seems phoenix got lucky that Dallas was off from 3pt range..

.056 3 point shooting...that's got to be some kind of record.

Fantastic fantasticness. Amare was just attacking the front rim with no regard, and he had one monster block. I forget on who though. :D

I'm pretty sure it was Dirk, when everyone thought it was a goaltend. You get Amare the ball within 5-7 feet of the basket, and he'll somehow finish and score, it's amazing really. He's in a group of very few big men in the NBA who can do that.

Add Steve's freaking assists and you got maybe the second best duo in the league.I never thought that Amare will be the leader of the team.

I wish I watched that game

Nash got like 26 points and 17 assists (y) He was obviously a big factor in the win, and continues to show MVP performance :P Gotta love that raw power and force in Amare.

I read up on it. Orbital bone fracture is when you get hit directly in the eyeball so hard (usually from a punch) that the pressure inside your eye cavity gets so intense it actually fractures the thin bone around your eye. In bad cases, the eye nerves will actually slide through the break.

And yes, he is a ******* stud for hitting a free throw with an internal part of his skull broken.

I thought the orbital bone was just below your eye?

anyways, Nash scores 48, Amare just 15 and Suns go down to Mavs. 2-2. At least theres 1 team out there with a bench thinner than Detroits.

The Suns need two players. A back-up power forward who can bang, and a back-up point guard who can make some good desicions. And they all need to spend two weeks learning to box-out. Preferably just three days though, until Wednesday.

lol smart move by the Mavericks..
Let Nash score 48
But only have 5 assist..
I think Nash having 17 assist is much bigger than 48points cause those assist get every other player involved and get the team game going..
