The Wizards are going into this series without Jarvis Hayes and Kwame Brown, and against Shaq who has again been displaced from the MVP award. The Wizards big three can give Miami a fight, and the Wizards have a mismatch with whoever is guarding Jared Jefferies, but that will not be enough to give them the series. Wade and Arenas had some great battles earlier in the year, and either Arenas or Hughes will continue those battles. Miami is a more efficient offensive team, and a much better defensive team, and should take this one in 5 games.
#1 Miami vs #5 Washington - [Miami 4-1]

This will be an interesting matchup as the Pacers and Pistons always are. The Pacers have been getting reinforcements lately, and look ready to battle. Jamaal Tinsley is back, and Jermaine O'neal is slowly getting back into playing form. If they can be relatively healthy, they can give Detroit a run for their money. Detroit didn't look their best against Philly, but they're always ready to fight. Their defensive prowess, great coaching, and overall talent will lead them to a close victory in 6 or 7 games.
#2 Detroit vs #7 Indiana - [Detroit 4-3]

These 2 teams give us the anticipation of games with scores of
136-130. The high scoring Suns meet the high scoring Mavericks in a showdown, Nash battles against his former teammate Dirk, and Marion against his arch nemesis Josh Howard

. Both teams come prepared and ready to play with a lot of talent, athleticism and depth [that one is mostly just Dallas, the Suns is decent]. Dallas has shown to be a more capable defensive team, but the Suns for the most part can also play some very good defense when needed. Marion has been a good matchup against Dirk defensively, and his presence could be a series changer. This will definately be a close one, and look for Phoenix to take it in 7 games, but it could possibly go either way.
#1 Phoenix vs #4 Dallas - [Phoenix 4-3]

The Spurs looked shaky early on when they lost to Denver in Game 1, but sine then they haven't shown any signs of turning back. Seattle played a good series against the Kings, and had a great performance from Jerome James who can be their series changer vs the Spurs. The Sonics have a mismatch against any Spurs defender with Rashard Lewis, and also have big men who are ready to get scrappy and dirty. The Spurs as we all know can play defense, and Ray Allen will meet Bruce Bowen. He better prepare his ankles for some pain. The Spurs are a superior team, and they should take this in 6 games. The Sonics will give a good fight, but just won't have what it takes.
#2 San Antonio vs #3 Seattle - [San Antonio 4-2]
